How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

No lounge or cafe facilities.
This is a new clean facility. Great swimmingpool with sauna. Bakery near by on walking distance. Only 9 km from Chamonix that is easily reached by car. Very good beds and complete kitchen.

Part of the rooms face the main street of the village so the traffic noise can be heard. No air conditioning.
Very nice hotel with great indoor pool with sauna and hammam. Hotel is great for exploring the area. Great view from the window but only from some of the apartments.

Excellent spacious 3 bed apartment, which felt like a small chalet. The spa and fitness centre is very modern and well equipped. The location is very close to the Les Houche ski lifts and a short walk to various bars and restaurants. It is perfect for families.

It was all good, but a little more attention to detail in the rooms to stop it from aging, like perhaps new curtains
It’s very functional without feeling basic, very clean and quiet. Spa facilities are excellent and location is perfect for shops

Pool and fitness room should be opened at least 1-2 hours earlier and Sauna and steam room should close at least 1 hour later
Great property ! Apartments are roomy , very well maintained and relatively new ; only 7-8 min drive from Chamonix lifts! Pool , fitness room , Sauna and steam room are impeccable are above expectation definitely 5 star level !

The only minor thing was that the kitchen was a bit bare. It would have been nice for a couple of minor basics like salt and pepper to be included.
It was in the perfect location, right in the middle of the main village of Les Houches and the ski lift. The facilities were excellent, an incredible spa. And it was just so family friendly, where you can borrow loads of kids equipment like buggies, car seats, high chairs and monitors.

The cleanness of sofa bed needs to be improved. There are stains and hairs. More kitchenettes should be added. There are only 4 mugs and one pan in the 4-people room which is not enough.
Good services, friendly people, nice swimming pool, cool location to go ski.

Room felt like our own little chalet, beautiful views, modern but cosy, great swimming pool and sauna area, friendly staff, ev charging possible. All just perfect for our family ski holiday. No ski in/ski out, but centrally located for different ski areas. We explored Les Houches/St Gervais, Megève, Courmayeur and Chamonix with one Mont Blanc ski pass.

The staff on arrival and during most of our stay was excellent. The only exception was one person who said she was "the director". The problem specifically was regarding car park spaces in the garage. On one particular evening, we returned late from a night out at Chamonix and found no free space to park, all free spaces had a RESERVED sign and we end up parking on an electric car rechanging space. The member of staff with whom I spoke on the following morning was very helpful and help us avoiding finding that situation again by giving us one of the RESERVED signs. On the last day the one entitled director told me we were wrong and that the availability of car park spaces was not guaranteed, which was not what it said on the booking.com site.

Everything was excellent.
The place is well equipped and comfortable for the family. The spa is excellent. There is convenient transportation to ski resorts. The staff is very pleasant. It was excellent.
