We had a wonderful 4 nights at Les Chalets de Ludran. Everything was perfect. Our children loved playing in the pool and the views of the mountains are breathtaking. The breakfasts were first class, really delicious - best French toast ever! What made our stay extra special was the kindness and hospitality of the hosts. Flo and her mother, Marie-Noelle, go over and above to make you feel welcome and comfortable, they genuinely care that you have a wonderful time. They had lots of advice about things to do in the local area, place to eat, and for activities for the kids. This is a really special place run by lovely people. We would highly recommend and cannot wait to return ourselves one day.

We liked the stunning panoramic views of the mountains and valley. We also appreciated how quiet and peaceful the location was, just perfect to relax away from the city. We enjoyed a yummy breakfast with fresh, local products. Finally I’d like to emphasize the genuine friendliness and welcoming of the hosts who make you feel at home!

On motorcycles and tricky ride up to the property but more than worth it when we got there. Lovely outlook with extensive surrounding grounds to stroll in. I forgot to pre order our evening meal but our hosts soon rustled up quite the best charcuterie and cheese board I've ever tasted together, all produced on site with home baked bread for €15 a head and a couple of bottles of wine at €18 each. Superb! - Breakfast on the terrace equally as good. Only downside was no GF bread for one of our party, the price you pay for home baked bread. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous visit to Les Chalets de Ludran. It’s a beautiful property in a stunning location. The view is breathtaking. We stayed in Le Grange which was super clean, very comfortable and with everything you need. Floriane is an amazing host who looked after us so well and made us feel at home - her breakfasts are wonderful! We had a brilliant time and will be back!

We didn’t like having to leave so early that we missed what appeared to be a phenomenal breakfast. Next time… for sure!

We loved being out in the country but close to the city. We loved the building and its history. We loved the decor, the pool, the jacuzzi. The hair was so welcoming. It’s a beautiful place to stay. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

It was a heart warming stay in all. Floriane and her family are warm, friendly, helpful and making sure that we were oké and services were to our wishes. We really recommend this beautiful, peaceful place in the countryside. Different ski areas are nearby as well is city life in Geneva. And cycling and walking here in summer are definitely on our wishlist. Thank you Floriane and familie!

Beautiful chalet in the French alps. Really good facilities with the jacuzzi and sauna. Flor was an amazing host who gave us great recommendations, an excellent breakfast and kept the fire going the whole time. Will hopefully be back.

Everything was perfect. Accommodation in the main building with a beautiful view of the countryside. The hosts are very friendly and willing to give advice. Breakfast is very rich and tasty. We didn't use the pool and Jacuzzi, it was already colder. I would love to come back here anytime.

Everything was perfect for us

The owner was very welcoming, he made an extra effort arranging dinner for us at a restaurant nearby where we enjoyed the complimentary drinks. He also cooked a fresh breakfast for us which you don’t have very often, the breakfast was amazingly tasty and fresh with a wide range of products to choose from. The chalet has a homely feeling and the views of the mountains are gorgeous. It is clean and comfortable and the place to be if you want to enjoy the mountains and feel well taken care of.

Not very soundproof, so you will hear other guests but nothing that disturbed us during our stay. That might also be simply due to shared balcony from the room in the building we stayed in.

Very cozy accommodation with access to pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Beautiful room and super lovely hosts! It was just us and another pair of guests so very calm. Very good that they have many parking spots too.

There was nothing to fault

The chalet was an absolute delight. It was finished to exceptionally high standards and was warm and inviting. Nano and Thiery were excellent hosts -very welcoming and engaged. Breakfast fayre was all fresh local produce or made by the hosts themselves. The surrounding landscape was stunning and if you are seeking peace and quiet this is the place to be. We will definitely return and would encourage any tourist looking for excellence, comfort and a peaceful break to stay at Ludrun

A vehicle is necessary to get around. There is not much you can do without a vehicle. If you are travelling from outside Europe you need to ensure that you have an international drivers license. There are taxi's in the area if needed. The drivers are friendly and willing to assist although not may speak English so you will need to brush up on your french if you are not french speaking. We had a terrible experience at Casino supermarket with terrible behaviour from the security and racial profiling with our products being taken from us. They refused to access their security camera when requested to do so to avoid from escalating the situation and correct their approach and behaviour. Horrible!!! I would suggest shopping elsewhere other than Casino supermarche if you are a black tourist and non french speaking (to defend yourself) or being mindful when shopping there. Absolutely horrible experience from the Casino Supermaket staff and lack of accountability from them.

The hosts a absolutely, fantasic!!! Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely. They went the extra mile to accomodate us and make our stay so lovely! An absolute pleasure! We woud return over and over again. :-)

Place located in quite and beautiful place with great view. Room is big, clean with balcony and view. We got really great sleep window is possible to close for darkness and there is no any sound. Breakfast was testy. Marie and Tierrie gave us warmest welcome that I’ve ever had is was like visited your friend house. I’ve been in hundreds of hotels and houses and this was one of the best in my life. Defiantly recommend this place.
