We loved our overnight stay at this property on our journey from the UK down to the South of France. Pascal and Sara were both so welcoming. We travelled here with our two young children who loved the beautiful pool, surroundings and breakfast hot chocolate. The breakfast was delightful in a gorgeous setting on the terrace. Pascal is one of life’s special people who make you feel at home from the get go. I hope we will return one day.

It’s beautiful. Quite quirky with lots of different rooms through the lovely old house but it was fantastic. Huge room, bed and bathroom lovely gardens and a great pool - just what we needed after hours on the autoroute!

Wonderful hotel and the owner, Pascal, is the consummate host. Quick drive into Le Thor and Isle de la Sorgue and great restaurants and shopping along the river

The host was gracious and welcoming. He greeted us with complimentary white wine and olives. The rooms were enormous - as part of our suite, we had two sitting rooms, a giant bedroom, and a private garden all to ourselves. Decor was fanciful, romantic, and reflected the host's lovely personality and the region's character. This 14th-century convent has been expertly converted into a unique and comfortable vacation hideaway. Breakfast, served on the beautiful terrace, included homemade croissants, superb cheese, and local artisanal yoghurt. The heated pool was a wonderful way to relax, and we enjoyed seeing the wild rabbits scamper through the beautifully-manicured grounds. Children would be especially happy with the giant outdoor chess set and croquet court, and lots of little gardens to explore. Only nine minutes' drive from L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Our Franco-American family will certainly return!

We loved this hotel! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They helped us book a restaurant for dinner since we forgot to make reservations. They made a tour of the place when we arrived because it’s so lovely there that they want to show you everything they have to offer. We also got a complimentary glass of wine while waiting for our room. Breakfast was amazing, most of it was homemade. The hotel is beautiful. The room was cozy and clean and I loved the interior design and the whole style of the hotel. The location was perfect ( if traveling with a car). Amazing place!

Gorgeous country house in beautiful Provencal countryside superbly hosted by Pascal and his team. Comfortable, well equipped room packed with rustic charm. Delicious breakfast on the terrace. Great pool, leisure facilities, early evening aperitifs sharing stories with other guests. Magnifique!

Amazing facility; Nice living and dining room. Several gardens, swimming pool and sauna. Good location to travel around. Recommendable especially for families with children. Host Pascal's breakfast is as great as his smile!

The host Pascal was so helpful and lots of fun and each night he hosted drinks so all of the guests could meet. The chateau was very grand plus a delightful outdoor area to eat breakfast (croissants, bread, jams, muesli, fruit & yoghurt), a pool to cool off on warm days, croquet plus a spa and gym. You need a car as the property is about 5min from the nearest town. Pascal advised of good restaurants to dine at each night in a town close by. Judy & Steve (Crocodile Dundee as named by Pascal)

Inez /pascal. The beautiful big rooms. The pool is perfect. The atmosphere.

Beautiful very welcoming hotel. The hospitality is beyond. Inez made us feel extremely welcome. The hotel is very calm and relaxing. The staff and owner pascal make you feel very welcome and there is a family atmosphere. They organise an apero every evening and you get to meet your fellow guest. Nothing is forced however. If you want privacy you will find it here but if you feel like socializing you will be able to do so in a beautiful setting. We were there for a wedding and were sad that we were not able to spend more time at les carmes.

The property is tranquil, comfortable and very charming with a fabulous swimming pool and the glorious scent of jasmine throughout the courtyard. Breakfast was perfect and both the owner Pascale and the new manager Inés were wonderful hosts.

What a lovely place to stay, chill and relax and be thoroughly looked after and made to feel special. Pascal was the most amazing host, he will ensure you have what you need and feel so special. We would certainly stay again which is unusual for us to return to places but this is such a change from your norm you won't be disappointed. Many thanks to Pascal and his team.

The host - Pascal was amazing - so generous with his time and local recommendations. Location - so close to fabulous villages, restaurants and countryside provided you have a vehicle. The facilities were wonderful - loved the history of the old home and the grounds were immaculate.

Beautiful and very large bedroom with stunning views. Lovely people and you feel very much st home in their living spaces. Lovely heated swimming pool and garden area. They went out of our way when we needed to leave early and still served us breakfast.

This was one of the best places we have stayed in Europe in many years. The host, Pascal, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The property was very special and had a gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The location was an easy drive to many towns in Provence and only 5kms from L'Isle sur la Sorgue. We hope we can stay there again one day.

This is a stunning Provencal property. Beautifully appointed and with lovely gardens. Our room was huge, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. So quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Pascal the owner is wonderful, attentive, warm hearted and welcoming. There is no food during the low season but the local town has places to eat. We would love to come back in the summer months and enjoy the pool and spa.
