The location of the hotel is good. Right next to the pistes and close to town. Very good breakfast. Amazing views from the room and breakfast location. Good ski equipment lockers as well (heated).

United KingdomIt’s is dire need of renovation. The decor is old fashioned, tired and dark. New features are functional but poor quality and poor taste so it doesn’t feel special. Ski in/ski out accommodation on the piste in a major ski resort is sought after so it’s expensive to stay there, however as the decor was tired, it was too expensive for what it was. Investing in brightening up the place and replacing worn out and poor quality features would make a massive difference to the overall experience for guests. Even the ski lockers are crying out for renovation. Recommendations- Replace poor taste soft furnishings such as orange cushions and faux black leather chairs with modern alpine style (light wood panelling, cream/beige cushions, bedspreads etc). Paint walls white. upgrade all wooden panelling as it’s worn and scratched, replace flooring/carpet with something more contemporary and in good taste, upgrade the lighting. The way to Reception access through the car park and through little corridors with too many doors is unwelcoming and should also be improved so give guests a better experience. The whole place needs a design to bring it in line with contemporary taste.
The staff were great and the meals were hearty so perfect for a ski holiday. Also convenient to be on the piste.

AustraliaThe shelf above the bed is annoying as we kept hitting our heads on it and the shower is ok but not great. A smart TV would be nice. None of these issues would stop us from staying at Les Balcons again. We really enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at Les Balcons Village. The staff were friendly, and the hotel has a welcoming feel. The receptions is tricky to find and the layout is a bit confusing but once you work it out, it's easy to find your way around. Loved the ski in ski out and the view from our room. The hotel is in a nice location away from the bars and noise yet close enough to walk to everything. Plenty of options for food nearby in Belle Plagne or catch the gondola down to Bellecote. Loved the pool and spa too.

Perfect location away from noise and right on the slopes next door to a ski hire shop and a small spa you can use for free. Lovely breakfast and food in restaurant is great as well.

United KingdomRooms were a tiny bit on the small side, but you kind of expect that skiing in Europe! They were also a bit warm, but hey, that's way better than being too cold. Bit hard to find and get to the pool, but we didn't choose the hotel for the pool so it wasn't a problem. Hotel was slightly difficult to navigate as we couldn't quite grasp the concept of the different levels - it might just be us tho!
The hotel Balcons Village in Belle Plagne is excellent. An absolutely perfect ski hotel, with stunning scenery and cosy, wooden lined rooms. The hotel accommodated our request for 2 rooms close together (we were travelling with 2 teenage children) by giving us interconnecting rooms, and also rooms that faced the slopes, which was wonderful. The staff of the hotel are absolutely fabulous - super friendly and extremely helpful, every one of them. All the staff go out of their way to make your stay easy and comfortable, which I've never experienced to this level before! Lovely breakfast, much appreciated by all of us, with plenty of options.

United KingdomWhen I was told I wasn’t as important as other guests and that my request to have my 9 and 10 year old daughter in a room next to me and my wife’s couldn’t be done - even though I had requested it 4 months previously.. I was also told my booking for news eve dinner hadn’t been received .. until I produced emails from the hotel in October confirming all was ok The receptionist was awful and made no effort to help

The communication before our stay was excellent, questions were answered clearly and promptly. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

United Arab EmiratesDisappointed that as hotel guests, but on bed and breakfast basis, we were not able to have dinner at the couple of hotel / residence restaurants as they were for half board guests only ... not such a bad thing as were able to explore the various lovely restaurants in Belle Plagne, but it would have been nice to have had the option to have dinner at the hotel.
