Only one tiny rubbish bin in the room.

Excellent location - Chenonceau is a short drive away. Secure parking on site. Nice room - bit small but OK - nice bathroom. Good air conditioning. Good size garden out front which you can use for eating , sunbathing etc. Breakfast was satisfactory but not brilllliant.

Breakfast was a delight. All 3 rooms eat together and the host chats with everyone. Very convivial. Homemade jam, delicious breads and croissants. Plenty of tea and coffee

Nothing really. Our room and bathroom were very clean but a little tired and we prefer a duvet to blankets on the bed.

The hostess was a scream, great fun and very entertaining and helpful. The location was very close to Chenanceau, a beautiful chateau to visit. The area is lovely, very peaceful. There was private parking behind security gates for our car. Breakfast was very nice with fresh bread and pastries as well as home made conserves.

Ideally situated for a visit to the chateau. A very warm welcome from Brigitte who very quickly made us feel at home. Room was well equipped, very clean and with the controllable heating ensured a comfortable stay with the varied weather. Breakfast was generous with a wide choice of food and drinks. Lovely quiet location, we hope to be able to return to enjoy this beautiful house. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We only booked this venue as the entry on Booking.com showed a restaurant within 100mt. This restaurant tuned out to have closed down!

Excellent location for visiting Chenonceau chateaux

Really nothing. It was a great find. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants and the chateau. That was fine for us but could be a problem for others?

The room was very large with a queen sized bed. Thoughtful extras like a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities (Madame gave us a jug of milk to have with our tea), extra pillows and blankets. The room had air conditioning which was brilliant as it was warm weather. A delicious breakfast was included in the price making it very good value. Madame Coquelet was friendly and helpful.

I was on motorbike trip from the ferry port of Cherbourg to Geneva and had searched for a half way place to rest and restore in the countryside. On arrival my lovely host Brigitte made me quickly welcome and at home. Offering me a cup of tea and her welcoming presence. Peaceful neighborhood. Very comfortable bed and very good facilities. I appreciated soaking in the hot bath after a long ride. Beautiful breakfast, amazing homemade jams.. Only a few hundred metres away I found a friendly restaurant/bistro for a nice evening meal (-very reasonably priced) that my host had recommended. I left 'Les Amandines' very content and happy. Thank you Brigitte.. Highly recommended !!!

The weather!

We were greeted by Brigitte who was warm, welcoming and lovely. The quality of the place is exceptional. Deep bathtub, great heater in the bathroom perfect for drying clothes, high ceilings, beautiful interior design and comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast food was OK, but the conversation with Brigitte was lovely, enriching our experience and travel in France.

Lovely room and excellent breakfast. Madame was very friendly and helpful. The house is very near Chenonceau and was ideally situated for our 2 night stay.

Nothing!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, good shower, plenty of hot water, nice towels. The bedroom was a good size; light and airy and had easy access to the terrace. Our friend’s bedroom was smaller and north facing so less light but was very comfortable and with a nice bathroom. They also had access to a living room except during breakfast time as well as a to the terrace. Both rooms have mini fridges and cutlery, plates and tea towels. We had a very warm welcome from our delightful host, Mme Coquelet, who offered tea/coffee on our arrival which we had on the terrace while she gave us advice on restaurants. The continental breakfast was plentiful and with excellent baguettes and croissants. Les Amandines is a lovely B and B which we would highly recommend.
