How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The only complaint would be the pressure balance in the shower as the water was hot for 10 seconds then cooled off, then hot, and so on and so on
I liked almost everything, the breakfast was good, location good, room good

Nice clean hotel, the staff was very helpful and responsive. There is a brewery in the ground flour (which we didn't visit, but it seemed nice). The location is great for a quick stopover while travelling by car or in case you have a business trip in the area. It is an industrial area, so not much to do otherwise in the neighborhood.

Huge commercial area all around with only 2 electrical chargers for the car....that we couldn't make work, what a pity!
Brand new place fantastic for an overnight. The room was super comfortable, big and quiet (very well soundproofed) and the private-free parking was a plus for us. Definitively worth for quality/price. The brewery offers good beers and desserts (we didn't have supper) - best to book a table as on a Sat night it was full.

I was looking for a hotel outside of Marseille since we had a car to commute and preferred not to stay in the city during the night. I was seeking a location like this but didn’t expect the hotel to be situated near an area with many hypermarkets, gas stations, and large stores, which are not the most ideal surroundings for a vacation stay.
Besides location everything else was fine.

De badkamer is wat klein.
Het hotel is onlangs gerenoveerd: alles is in perfecte staat, clean en modern. De airco is tamelijk geruisloos.

Renovated hotel, the room was exceptional. I especially enjoyed the shower and the comfortable bed. The check in and check out was seamless, despite arriving at a late time. The breakfast selection was good, and I was able to have it almost at closing time thanks to the kind staff.

The wifi keeps logging out and in every time you leave and comeback and the beer garden can be noisy late.

New hotel, conveniently located close to Cassis, only 15-20 minutes drive. Great restaurant together with small a brewery are part of the hotel. Manager and the staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We just found this hotel by coincidence as we were driving around the coast and decided to extend our stay here for another 4 nights after having such a great experience the first day.

It is in the middle of an industrial/commercial zone , not at all in the center. The fitness room is really poor, there is no dumbells, no water , no towel available 😔

I've been asked to give my debit card to the member of staff in the reception in case I damage the property as far as I know. This is the only time I have shared this card details with someone (for online purchases I use virtual/disposable cards). Few days later, someone has tried booking a stay in Zanzibar, Tanzania with this card details. Pretty sure my card details have been leaked in this hotel. I tried contacting staff but no luck... Be careful and do not repeat my mistake.
Very modern/new hotel with private parking on-site and very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms are reasonably spacious and very clean. It also has a very nice restaurant which serves amazing food in the evening and reasonable breakfast in the morning.

Brand new property. I think this was the first day it was open. Personnel had a few issues with offering solutions due to some lack of training as the hotel was just open. But so nice! Our room AC didn’t work properly and we were reallocated in another room/floor. Very nice Great value for money
