Beautiful modern, fresh clean, great location, peaceful & secure, comfortable & everything that was needed Romain is perfect host, access & queries arranged so quickly - thank you What a gem of a place Chill & relax before exploring the bars & restaurants in the ‘town’ before our favourite family destination La Cite We’ve been trying to plan a proper stopover in Carcassonne after visiting for over 20 years - this apartment did not disappoint!

Great location in Bastide near to cathedral, shops and restaurants, but easy to walk to the Cité. Sympathetically renovated apartment that was well-insulated and cool. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped for our needs and spacious. The hosts provided timely information and were very accommodating.

There could have been a wardrobe or, at least hooks for clothes in the master bedroom. The bedrooms would benefit from more pictures and from rugs on the floor.

The apartment was very clean. It is well located and the kitchen is well equiped. The instructions about access were very clear and access was easy.

Parking is additional cost. Asked if we could check in 2hrs before check in time and got told it would cost a extra 20€ felt like it was a cash grab.

Great place to stay for our 2 night stay to check out Carcassonne for our family of 5. It was positioned it a nice safe neighbourhood and we had no issues getting around to see all the sites by foot. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything u would need to eat in. Beds were comfortable and bathroom/shower was one of the best we have come across in Europe.

Lovely apartment, ideally situated to walk into both the old and new town. Host was very friendly and met us to organise car parking nearby to the apartment.

Very good bed, check-in very easy with the codes. Great detailed information from the host. Quiet sleeping, great view from the living room. A soap and hand towel would be appreciated in the bathroom. (Don’t mind bringing my own in the shower) As well curtains in the bedroom.

Absolutely everything about this place exceeded my expectations! The location is simply perfect, and the apartment itself is exactly as depicted in the images – yet, being there feels even cozier, like a home away from home! If I find myself back in Narbonne, I wouldn't hesitate to book it again. In fact, it's the best accommodation I've booked in Narbonne across my three visits. Parking was a breeze, and its proximity to the center and the market is incredibly convenient. The apartment's aesthetics are beautiful and charming, providing everything one might need. I especially adore the thoughtfully curated decoration – it truly elevates the experience!

We stayed at this fabulous apartment from Oct 14th to today (17th). It was beautiful; so clean and modern. We entered the building and apartment via code and contact with the owners was so straightforward and pleasant. The location is so central to everything in Carcassone. I would highly recommend Le Voltaire!!!!

The apartment was very clean, very well stocked for self catering and the washing machine a bonus. Very close to all the sites and the train.

It wasn't obvious that there were shutters to darken the room. There was no soap provided and we didn't like the fact there was no sink near the toilet.

Kitchen chairs not very comfortable. 3 flights of stairs so maybe not suitable for some visitors. A few extra cushions on sofa would b nice. Some extra towels also.

Location is excellent. Very near restaurants. 25 minute walk to the medieval city. Really quiet at night. Close to train station. Very clean. Comfortable.
