Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandIt was quite tricky to find manage the A/C. As soon as you opened the window, the A/C stopped. And did not restart :=( Learning curve!
The staff was nice. I had'nt found a parking lot, so the man gave me for two days the place for handicapped people, there were no reservations for that place. It was quite okay for two nights, especially due to the location, you could easily reach in a couple of minutes (by walking!) the Tiki-Beach and the plage du débarquement with an excellent resaturant on the slope of the hill.

SwitzerlandDidn't find the place at the first try. Would benefit from better signalization on the street. The pillows were somewhat hard -- probably synthetic. We did not ask for different pillows, however.
Very friendly staff. Gave good recommendations when asked. Nice breakfast; included self-made pancakes with authentic maple syrup. Great bathroom. Room had a balcony.

I recently stayed at Hotel Le Virevent and was thoroughly impressed by the modernized rooms. Everything felt fresh and new, with sleek decor and thoughtful design throughout. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was a standout feature—large, clean, and with all the amenities you’d expect from a high-end hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, which is always important after a long day of travel. Breakfast was another highlight of my stay. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. Everything was prepared to a high standard and provided a great start to the day Overall, Hotel Le Virevent exceeded my expectations, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, modern stay with excellent facilities.

New ZealandNothing I didn’t like.
Perfect room for a working holiday. The room was new and nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. There was a small desk I could work from. There was lots of space to hang and organise your belongings. There was a small mini fridge so I could keep some things cool. The shower was a nice large walk in shower with 2x shower heads, one was a rain shower. The balcony was quite large and had a nice view over the street. It was a close walk to lots of nice beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. There was a lovely bakery right behind it.

IsraelParking could be challenging in the high season (July-August). The hotel has its own parking garage (which we didn't use) but I am not sure how many parking spaces they have. The back street parallel to the main road D559 did not have parking at all when we were there' so don't count on it in high season.
The location on the main road to St. Raphael, but yet the room was very quiet, clean. We checked in after 6pm, and were given instructions on how to open the main door and find the keys to our room- it was easy and went smooth. We parked along the main road (D559), and found free parking there (after 7pm and until 9am the next day it is free) Just across the road from the hotel I can recommend Cap Dramont for hiking, with stunning views of the sea and the gulf of Agay and the castle on an island (Il'e d'or) and a little nice beach.

ItalyMy room was cozy and really really clean. I opted for one with the balcony, which I really liked. The breakfast buffet was good and I appreciated the underground car park (you have to pay for it separately) so I didn't have to think about my car during my stay. The location is perfect, close to the beach and there is a supermarket right next to it. I really like the area, the sea is beautiful but there are other activities like hiking and biking that deserve a shot. The scenary is stunning. I'll definetly be back.

JerseyWe arrived as the wind was picking up and it seemed to swirl around the building, sounding like a storm in our room, rattling the shutter. Only a small amount of parking in the basement and we had to park outside on the road.
The room itself was good, comfy bed, with TV and free wifi. The bathroom had a shower and all was very clean. The balcony had a table and chairs to sit out on. We were on the third floor with a good view of the red rocks behind us. Breakfast was continental help yourself which was adequate. The woman checking us in was helpful and friendly. Two restaurants close by and a spa shop next door.

SerbiaJust one suggestion to the hotel is to add slippers in the rooms, I like to have them but when you travel only with backpacks it is not possible to pack them... :D
The hotel is in a great location if you want to investigate the French Riviera since you will be able to easily visit towns on both sides concerning the hotel. The breakfast was OK, basic, but all tasted well.
