It was a coffee machine rather than filter or 'real' coffee - though this seemed the same across much of Tignes I think a filter coffee machine with real coffee would make a big positive difference.

Location was fantastic - near town and lifts (we were mountain biking using ski lifts and free buses) - and hotel was simple but nicely done as the no. of stars suggests... but the absolute best bit was the view across the Lake... just stunning from our room and from the balcony where we ate breakfast... it was like a film set. The hotel has a locked storage room (bikes / skis) and people on hand throughout the day. It provides the "My Tignes" card discount which meant 7 days lift pass for 32 euros ... this gave us the lifts for Tignes and Val D'Isere as well as free or reduced access to lake activities and the leisure centre (which included a brilliant wellness area - 4 jacuzzis, 3 saunas and a steam room). As an added convenience we were able to park outside the property though did not use our car all week. Breakfast was simple but nicely done.

Perfect place to stay for skiing. Breakfast adequate (I say that as I’m celiac, But otherwise it’s a good spread). Good boot/ski room with Boot heaters. Easy to get onto drag lift up behind hotel - then links with rest of area. Easy walk into Le Lac. Very helpful staff. Easy to find. Bar open from 5-8 after skiing.

Great location, amazing views over the lake from the bedrooms. Super comfy beds and simple but lovely breakfast. Basic but comfortable and clean. Staff very helpful. Ski and boot room very handy. Ski bus right outside or 5 min walk to Maison de Tignes for shops and ski lifts.

A very welcoming family-run hotel. Good breakfast, comfortable room and bed, pleasant bar. Wonderful view across the lake with mountains all around. An easy walk to the ski lifts and the resort facilities.

The location is great; a short walk to the lifts and super close to the bus stops for transport further afield. Rooms are no frills but perfect for my needs - a hot, powerful shower and a warm, comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff and a reasonable breakfast offering.

Our room’s balcony was overlooking the road so it got a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was nice but we would have loved a bit more variety or at least a bit of rotation in the offering. But it was still very good and filled us up ahead of a day of skiing.

Le Terril Blanc offers good value for money and great location. The bus to Val Claret is just across the road and it is only a few hundred meters to the lifts, shops and restaurants. We also really enjoyed the bar area. The staff was really lovely and their friendliness was one of the highlights of the stay.

Rooms are clean and tidy with balconies overlooking the lake and Val Claret in the distance, stunning! Great little bar downstairs with a dartboard and you can even order in food. Made for a great laugh one night with darts completion. Highly recommend 👌

A lovely little hotel. Warm welcome. Great location about a five minute stroll to the lifts. The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the lake and mountains in a very quiet location. Breakfast was adequate. We didn't use the bar but it looked cosy.. We would stay again.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Location excellent for all amenities - ski lift 400m, bus stop outside door (good links to other Tignes resorts), close to sports plaza, swimming pool and restaurants. Friendly bar in evening. Good breakfast. Basic but very comfortable room.

The room for 3 persons is a bit small.

The team is absolutely amazing extremely kind. Breakfast is good, nothing special but everything you need. The location is perfect with a shuttle stop just in front and 5 minutes walking to the shops and ski lifts.

The room is a little bit small for 2 persons. But given the price and the service, it is totally fine.

The staff were very friendly and supportive. Béatrice showed us everything when we arrived at hotel. The room has everything we need and is with a stunning mountain view. Breakfast was also good, we love the ham and the pain au chocolat.

Would have been good if the coffee machine was available for after skiing.

Loved the view of the lake and mountains from the breakfast area and bedroom. You can lie on your bed looking at the mountains. Lots of storage space. Room was lovely and warm. Always had a good supply of hot water for bath and showers. Hot chocolate at breakfast was lovely. You can skate back on your skis from skiing at the end of day and also in the mornings. Bus stop right outside hotel. Nice short walking distance into town for bars, restaurants, shops and pharmacy. The owner is happy to go above and beyond to help out.
