We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThere was construction just across the restaurant, so there was a little bit of noise but nothing really loud while we were having breakfast in the morning. And it should be done within a month or so. Not being able to pay by credit card might be inconvenient for some people. Also it seems one could not stay shorter than 5 days. A funny thing: a family of five wild boars seemed to visit the beaches in the area at dusk and no one seem to worry!
Breakfast is a basic « French » breakfast, which is baguette, butter and Jam with coffee (or tea or else) and a small glass of orange juice. On the last day, we were treated to a croissant. What was lovely: having breakfast on the terrace with blooming vegetations and the gorgeous blue sky of the south of France. The staff was very kind and pleasant and especially the lady serving us breakfast every day. It is very laid back: for example, when we arrived around 6:30 PM, no one was at the reception but there were pieces of paper indicating where our room was. Two very kind ladies, who have come to Le Refuge every year since 2003, helped us find our rooms and get in touch with the manager, whom they have befriended. It turned out that the manager’s mother has serious health issues she needed to attend. The beach is right there and there are stunning walking trails starting just behind the beach. A place I would love to come back to!
