The host was absolutely lovely warm, welcoming, and polite. We enjoyed a truly gastronomic meal, and the breakfast was equally amazing! The waitstaff were exceptionally polite and well-mannered. The host also shared the fascinating history of the maison, which added a special touch to our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

Such a stunning place- a converted 14th century mill in glorious grounds Would recommend to anyone. Beautiful food, rooms and service. Feels like staying in a slice of history.

Beautiful Manor House in a lovely location, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was great, we definitely didn’t go hungry.

It is high segment price , justified by the scenery and the quality of house , food and the service . But there is room for improvement in details ( papercups instead of glasses in the room ; no water , thea , fruit in the room etc )

Across the board this hotel is fantastic. The position is in an island in the seine and is stunning. A great pool and lots of land and trees to walk through. The hotel which is an old mill is beautifully converted with great sized rooms. The owner who we met was so friendly and helpful. We had a great meal there and excellent breakfast. We only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed for me.

we're in our 60s, and the climb up two steep flights of stairs wasn't great with luggage.

the location is beautiful and scenic, along a tributary of the seine. the hotel is beautifully and luxuriously decorated (our room had silk walls) and wifi was good. we had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. breakfast was perfect with delicious coffee, croissants, baguette, fruit juice and yoghurt.

One thing only….. no hook for the shower.

The warmth and friendliness of Corinne and her staff. The recommendations made about where to visit in the area. The delicious food. The relaxed and stunning surroundings. The amazing river and wild life. Tout!

Everything! We stayed in a junior suite which was beautiful! The bathroom had a double shower and a jacuzzi bath - the views onto the lake were impressive. The bedroom was spacious! The hospitality from Karin was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! The food at the restaurant is some of the best we’ve had from any hotel / bnb and the service was impeccable. AND it’s dog friendly which meant we could sit in front of the log fire with our little pup and a glass of wine on the evening too which was just another highlight of our stay :) We will certainly be heading back next year and we are already looking forward to it :) This place had everything you could expect from a homely chateaux. If you’re thinking about booking certainly book one of the suites as it’s worth it!

It is a lovely property, set in a beautiful tranquil and picturesque location on the Seine. Fabulous staff, lovely food and a great place to spend our final weekend In France

There is no lift and a very narrow staircase which we found rather difficult to manage as we are both in our 70’s. 2 flights and no one to help. We managed - carefully. Otherwise the property, location and restaurant are wonderful.

Le Moulin De Connelles is a charming place with a wonderful view over the river. It was the most beautiful hotel we have stayed in France. The food is delicious. The owner and the stuff are helpful and welcoming. I hope we will return there some day.

Nothing major but l do like to have tea and coffee in the room rather than paying extra each time we wanted one. 😊

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Karine, the owner, was absolutely lovely and every request was met with no fuss. Michael (who we is think the concierge) was so helpful in giving us advice and maps on places to visit and both were lovely to chat to. The food was exemplary, cooked by Karine’s husband - absolutely delicious and not filled with fries or vegetables, just the right amount of everything to satisfy. The grounds are just beautiful for strolling around and the use of the rowing boats for free is a wonderful treat! The hotel is a great base for visiting places such as Honfleur, Évreux and Rouen. Look out for the beaver-like Coypu in the river too, such a delight to se that. Highly recommended, we loved it! 🥰

A lovely property on the banks of the seine with a private island and pool. We stayed for 3 nights with evening meal. Nothing better than coming “home” to the hotel after a long day and being welcomed by Karine and Michael, sitting by the river with a cocktail. All the advantages of a small family run boutique hotel. Highly recommend
