The hostess went above and beyond to accommodate us, including putting out a breakfast for us the night before because of our scheduled early departure time. AND, my wife had an infected blister for which we had got a prescription for antibiotics from an online doctor, and our hostess drove us to the next town to catch the pharmacy just before it closed. Then she made taxi reservation for my wife who ended up having to go to the train station to get to the airport in Paris to get home the next morning. Oh yeah, the mill was very cool too!

Please put in a doorbell, as it was difficult to attract attention when we arrived late due to traffic and tunnel delays in the UK. A couple of chairs in the bedroom would be appreciated.

Excellent location within easy driving distance from Eurotunnel and 'typically French' with authentic features. (A must for watermill enthusiasts with much of the original equipment.) Perfect location for cyclists with beautiful countryside. The hostess is very friendly (with good English) and the breakfast was exceptional..

Communication was excellent throughout. Marion was very helpful and looked after us very well. It is an old building which has so much character and charm. The breakfast was more than adequate and very well presented, the home made yogurt was areal bonus. Marion has worked hard to develop the accommodation whilst maintaining the originality. If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping here as it’s so convenient to get to the channel Tunnel. Thank you.

Fabulous place and wonderful, warm host. We had a lovely comfy room, a terrific dinner and great breakfast. Plus our host made up a wonderful baguette for us. This is such a lovely place on the Via Francigena. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nice little B&B close to Calais ferry (30 min drive) The room was quite big and comfortable with a terrace as well. Breakfast is included with bread/pastries - homemade yoghurt etc. The host was lovely.

Make sure your ẞatnav doesn't bring you in via the back road! The bridge is very narrow and the road is rough. 😖

We loved the tranquility of the Mill and the sound of the water. Only 30 minutes from the ferry and run by a lovely family. Good breakfast. No TV in the room, and good beer!

Nice quiet location in a picturesque hamlet, off the beaten track, but easily accessible from the Eurotunnel. Very secure motorbike parking in the garage. Friendly owner who speaks good English. Nice continental breakfast, and evening meal was offered after making the booking. Would happily stay there again if in the area.

We stayed at this hotel on our journey from the UK to France. It's conveniently located in about 30 minutes from Calais in a very quiet rural area. The hotel is a character building converted from the old water mill, and that itself is already fascinating. It's owned by a lovely young family and they created a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are spacious and warm, beds are very comfortable. We can only highly recommend!

I stayed here many times under the old owners but at that time it was a hotel now it is basically a bed and breakfast . However they will prepare you a male or a table d hote Basis

The new owners are young couple are very eager to please and friendly. The old Mill house is charming and has been incorporated into the main building very cleverly. Basis. However be prepared and aware this is now a bed and breakfast establishment rather than a full hotel. But I feel the Young couple who now own the property deserve all of the success and support they can get.
