Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere's nothing we didn't like but feel that our visit would have been enhanced by having better access to a mirror preferably full length..(3 ladies getting ready to go out with only a small mirror in the bathroom is problematic!) and an iron would have been appreciated.
It was spotless. Beautiful setting with great views. The beds were super comfortable. Nadia who runs the apartment was extremely helpful. On arrival we found ourselves stranded in town unable to get a taxi or bus and she very kindly drove to pick us up.

Polanda little street noise possible to hear during night, WIFI not working AT ALL The lady owner - she said she doesn’t speak English, although there is information that personel speaks English. She didn’t reply to our SMS, not tried to communicate in English. We said we don’t speak French, but she wasn’t helpful. It was obvious that she could speak English at least basic level, when she started to ask if we are leaving on the last day and wanted us to pay for the coffe. We asked for WiFi- it was not working. She said there is a „problem” and did not do anything with that for the whole 5 days. We had impression we were intruders for her, not a nice feeling.

United KingdomThe host was plain rude. When we arrived we somehow felt like an inconvenience, nevertheless we politely asked where we should park our car, she claimed she didn’t understand English and was most unhelpful, just what you need after a long trip. We stayed in the studio apartment. The toilet had an unpleasant smell and reminded me of a public loo. The separate walk in shower and sink area were very small but functional. There was a large cupboard to put belongings in but it smelt musty and was not appealing at all. Barely a view to the sea from the balcony, we had to stand up to be able to see it between the telegraph pole with its many wires and the neighbours hedge. This is an old building that has been done up but not terribly well. Take your mosquito repellant and ant spray there were a lot of both out on that balcony constantly trying to get in!
The location, which was was up on a hill, was pleasant enough although we could hear the road down below if we opened the balcony doors, this did not particularly bother us. It had a well equipped kitchenette. The pool area was nice, clean and tidy. We liked the beach which was about a 10- 15 minute walk from the property.
