    Good outdoor space.

No restaurant! Was not open but did not tell you that when you booked a none refundable booking !! The children were not allowed to use the pool, again this was not mentioned until after the booking !! Totally poor and for £400 a night found it a little naughty being lied to.

Good staff, nice facilities - generally. The pool was good, the ‘hot’ tub is not a hot tub - it’s the same temperature as the pool. The steam room and the sauna are only operational for limited hours - disappointing if it doesn’t happen to be when you are there. Overall - very expensive for drinks and food. Restaurant is good but not outstanding. Breakfast at 25 Euros per head is just way too much. Better places available for less money.

Operational hours for Spa facilities. Prices in general were excessive.

Splendid property, in beautiful setting and excellent location.

Our room was quite nice, with a beautiful view and lots of lights, but the it - as well as the bathroom - could need some refreshments. Upon arrival, we had to wait a long time at the check-in (no one was present). Especially disturbing was that the fact that the wastebasket in the bathroom was not clean (it was not emptied ).

Location was beautiful. Grounds were lovely. Staff on reception were not friendly (apart from when we were leaving we struck a lovely lady). Just not a welcoming place.

Our room was very dark and needed an upgrade The room really spoilt our stay.

    Location. Design. Comfort.

Sorry to say laundry bags left by lifts well into the evening lessened the experience of a fine hotel.

Pleasant location, very quiet. Interesting decor, and quirky vibe generally. Plenty of free parking. Bar and restaurant as good as you would expect.

WiFi was unreliable Our room was in the spa building - no lift

Peaceful and quiet setting for the hotel which is surrounded by large gardens with interesting and some quirky aspects. Good swimming pool in the nearby spa. Excellent cuisine for dinner in the hotel restaurant. Large comfortable bedroom with excellent facilities and a nice bathroom with a good shower.

Some of the prices are excessive for the value received. 25 euros for a very mediocre breakfast was frankly wildly excessive. 7 euros for a bottle of the hotel’s own bottled water seemed rather steep. The hotel had reserved a table for me for dinner in the restaurant at 19h30. No choice of time had been offered to me. On arrival at the restaurant at 19h30 there was no sign of a single member of staff, so I sat and read a magazine in the entrance hall for the next 25 minutes. Eventually I was seated at 19h55 but I was not offered a menu or anything to drink for a further 10 minutes. There was just one female member of staff who was waiting on 9 tables entirely on her own. The service of the meal took until 22h00 which I felt was really very unsatisfactory. The cuisine of each dish was in fact excellent but the meal was ruined by the above detrimental points. When checking out the following morning I was presented with a bill which was about double what I was expecting. On examination it included some but not all of the items that I had had for dinner as well as various drinks and food items that had clearly been ordered by another guest. This was quickly corrected and I was presented with my proper bill for settlement. I was unimpressed by this error by the hotel. After I had led the hotel I was annoyed to see from the bill that I had been charged 2.30 euros for the taxe de séjour when this was clearly shown on my Booking.com reservation confirmation as included in the room total that I had already paid. All in all I regret that these significant matters detracted from the enjoyment of staying in what is otherwise a delightful and well maintained hotel with courteous staff.

It was a good location. Well presented. Nice bar/ lounge area. Our room looked out over the sea which was nice. Breakfast was good, reasonable choice Spa facilities were good

Restaurant was closed, despite both Booking com and also Hotel own website stating the restaurant was open. Issues with the lift but there was a note to say button was broken, causing some difficulties. In my opinion breakfast was a bit expensive compared to other hotels we had used through France (maximum paid €17) for similar choice

Lovely place, gorgeous grounds. Our rooms were large and well equipped and very comfortable, the spa was excellent, nice pool and outside area and a small but adequate sauna and steam room. We arrived at lunch time and had a light sharing board in the garden with some drinks and then had dinner in the restaurant. The bar area is very welcoming. The whole place is perfect for breaking the journey from Dieppe into deeper France. Would have liked to have more time to visit the local area which seems charming.

All was very good, only thing seems to be that they expect guests to be absent over lunch, so the lunch offering is very minimal -but tasty! - and the service was quite slow as they had to find staff to serve us. Spa opening hours were 3pm - 9pm and then open only at 9am again. I am an early riser and like to have a swim before breakfast, which was therefore not possible.

Lovely peaceful location. Beautiful grounds. Very comfortable bed. Excellent food especially evening dinner. Plenty of parking. Close proximity to very quiet beach. Ideal for visiting nearby highlights including beautiful Honfleur and stunning Deauville. Even a welcoming fire in the lounge.

Only minor point was that lift buttons were temperamental. Hardly a major point though !

Beuatiful property in a beautiful location. The gradens and spa are amazing and the rooms are tasteful and spacious.

We wont say we disliked anything but believe that is a property understandably more suited to adults only. The swimming pool is also for adults only, which we hadnt expected. Hence being the oböy ones with a 7 year old felt bit off place.
