I was happy with everything. I would say that it is not suitable for people who cannot go up and down stairs.

The house is generous in size, and generously equipped with most things you would need, and some that one does not need every day.

Fabulous old building in the heart of the historic area of Sancerre. Two Comfortable bedroom suites. Extremely well equipped kitchen, dining room, and living room. Good communication with our host. We love it.

There is no parking for automobiles directly next to the house but parking is available nearby. Luckily once the automobile is parked there is no need to drive in Sancerre.

The property was conveniently located near restaurants, shops and wine retailers in Sancerre. It is also well appointed in the kitchen with dishes, glasses, appliances. Essentially everything we needed! The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very spacious and well appointed.

The house was in the centre of the village so easy to wander the streets and visit the restaurants. The property was very clean, well equipped and there was everything you would need. The wine tour with the owners was also great value and very enjoyable.

Everything was fine. The dishwasher was a bit temperamental and the recycling wasn't very clear to me. I hope we did the right things. We found it difficult to find the black bin liners and we weren't able to find cleaning cloths, e.g. for wiping the table in the yard. It would have been good if they had all been in the room in the courtyard. If they were I'm afraid I couldn't find them. However, we managed these things with no inconvenience to us.

The property was excellent, comfortable, warm, beautifully designed, lovely kitchen and living area. Wonderful bedroom, the desk in the first bedroom was extremely useful as I was studying at the language school. Access to the property was easy by using the key lock by the front door. Unfortunately we didn't meet Alice but we did exchange some messages before we arrived. We knew that if necessary we could contact her but everything went so well that it wasn't necessary. Parking can be a bit tricky on busy days

The house is very beautiful with lots of charme. Location is perfect and the host very kind! The rooms are spacious and decorated with good taste. Bathrooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. The kitchen is large and extremely functional with any amenities available that one can think of to cook as if you were at home. There is also very nice table wear to have a great meal among friends. The winery is also absolutely worth visiting. We had an excellent tour in the beautiful and large cellar where we received very interesting and useful information on local wine.

Had absolutely n complaints.

I stayed here for a week while attending the language immersion program at Coeur De France. The house (which I am guessing was probably built near the 18th century) has been fully restored with modern amenities yet maintains the look and feel of the original structure. It is comfortable, well equipped for a stay of weeks or months, and provided a wonderful place to relax and unwind after a day of activities. Alice invites her guests for a tour of their family’s winery, Domaine Reverdy Ducroux. I highly recommend it. The tour was very informative, the family members gracious in their time and knowledge of their wines, and of course their wines were fantastic. Should I ever be so lucky to return to Sancerre or the Loire Valley region I would definitely stay here again.

A longer stay at this marvelous house.

We have rented homes all over France, and this was OUR FAVORITE OF ALL TIME. Our only regret was that we did not stay long enough! Again, this house was perfect in every way. Furnished as if it is a vacation house for caring owners, it is not like a typical VRBO. Its kitchen is very well appointed with anything you could need. Its renovations are ingenious and very well done, keeping the original character. I cannot say enough about how much we loved this visit, and we will look forward to a return.

Nothing could have been better

A magnificent old building with a stone spiral staircase. The property was extremely well equipped, comfortable and warm even in the cold weather we had when we stayed there. Our host replied very quickly to the couple of queries we had, and was extremely welcoming with a bottle of local white wine in the fridge for our arrival.

Returned home (France) last week from a fantastic stay, with friends, at this property. It will not disappoint you. Everything is of the highest quality and in a quiet position.
