This is one of the best places I have stayed in France. The room was clean and comfortable, cooled successfully on a hot summer night by the ceiling fan and open screened windows. Comfortable bed. Spotless bathroom. Position quiet and peaceful. The host was polite, friendly, attentive. She contacted me in advance to check on timings. Most of the lovely breakfast was homemade.

If you’re coming from abroad like us, it’s a unique opportunity to experience French culture up close. Flore, Pierre, and their little dog Ninou gave us a very warm welcome. They were always friendly and helpful. We would love to stay here again!

Everything is great! Good base to visit Rocamadour.

Flore and Pierre are excellent hosts! The rooms are charming and warm in the middle of winter. We were able to unwind downstairs with a hot cup of tea before bedtime. Flore makes homemade yogurt, brioche, muffins, jams and hazelnut spread for breakfast.

We were welcomed by very nice hosts (Flore and Pierre) who did everything to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast is lavish, and we enjoyed the conversations with the other guests and the hosts. Many sights (Rocamadour, Martel, the Dordogne river) are close, and Flore gave us great advice on how to get there. We also strongly recommend the excellent restaurant "La Terrasse", which is just a five-minutes walk from Le Kouloury.

There is nothing we dislike about this lovely place, and I can't think of anything I would change.

We have stayed with Pierre and Flore on several occasions now - at different times of year - and our stays have always been s complete joy. Pierre and Flore are delightful and warm hosts, and they are always happy to welcome us. Their lovely house is warm and comfortable, they beds are truly excellent, and the breakfast is always fabulous. Flore make her own cakes, and jam, and there is always something new and interesting to taste! Newly installed mosquito netting in all the bedrooms makes sleeping all the more peaceful.

It was a lovely place but essentially it was a room in a large house. We don’t watch TV but if you do, there wasn’t one. Amenities were light…one towel each. No shampoo or face cloths. It was noisy being next to a busy road.

The host couple were really lovely and breakfast was fresh, home made and really nice.
