How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewFrankly we were blown away. Its far better than the images can do justice. The hotel is set around an old village, complete with church, gardens and old mansions that they have incorporated into a restaurant and spa. Its FAB. Staff are on top form and super helpful, willing to go the extra makes a huge difference and i would describe this is a luxury stay with outstanding grounds and moments walk to the beach. The rooms are huge for a bigger one and frankly the fittings and fixtures are expensive. All round its one of the best hotels we have stayed at all over the globe. Owoo and the local village is 5 mins walk.... its beautiful high end town with many good places to eat... just book up.
Only three things.... 1. Why serve Budweiser on tap?? thats shocking! you have all these local breweries please get something decent on and not big labels. 2. You have such an amazing beach. Why not have a late night bar? 3. It would be good to have some better idea how to get into the local town on arrival ( the map you show guests ), the car gate is confusing and not any signs saying what to do, the side path is good but again your guessing does it actually go where you think....? then stops and you have a very 'dodgy' road part before pavment. Please look at making a dedicate bridge into town over the water so its safe and easier to understand where to go. thats all i have for you thank you!

Verified reviewThe location was great. The beach and the food truck were great.
The fact that we had to pay extra for the beach, the parking, the bikes was not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Especially because there were no swimming pool. The staff was very young.

Verified reviewIt’s the right hotel if you want to be totally cut off from the rest of the world
Do jot book the restaurant but the beach as they done have space for the hotel clients being that they accept people from out side the hotel. They had called us a day before we have arrived if we want to book the restaurant but they never asked us about the sun beds which is a problem.

Verified reviewThe rooms were very clean and spacious. There was complimentary water. The staff was very sweet and friendly. The overall hotel grounds were beautiful and well kept.
The fact that guests had to additionally pay for their beach beds and there was no other options to relax (no pool). The staffs English was very broken, which made it quite hard to communicate with.

Verified reviewA very nice place, care for details, quiet , cosy, excellent restaurant, close to the beach and near some some small restaurants
If we have to search for something it is the entry to the location: always need to ring the bell and wait, also need to get out of the car always. Could be solved smoother

Verified reviewAmazing conzept! We love the very healthy food in the restaurant. Plus the stuff was super friendly and ambitious.
You can tell, that more stuff would be necessary to keep the high standards. So please Hilton headquarters - help here. But big compliments to the stuff - you did an amazing job and we enjoyed the stay with you. Everything was to our expectations and beyond. We come back as soon as possible. Verified reviewThe rooms are beautifully designed and clean. The territory is stunning
The breakfast was just okay and the pastry was dry which was weird considering we are in France in a 5 star hotel. The saunas weren’t working on one day and on another they were turned off

Verified reviewThe room and the surrounding property of the hotel were beautiful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. Unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy and we were not able to enjoy the beach or the grounds as we had hoped.

Verified reviewFantastic location on the beach. Very clean. Extremely helpful staff. Nice resort. Recycling and sustainability very important for the hotel. Nice area outside. Very comfortable beds. We slept very well in the second building. Main building might be more noisy from the street.
The lighting system in the room was too complicated. Either no light or too many lights at once waking up other person when using bathroom or toilet. Bathroom open to room . No door. Hotel and staff very nice but too expensive. Breakfast extremely expensive, so we did not take it. Parking and dog too expensive.
Dear Madam, We are pleased to have welcomed you to the Hameau Des Pesquiers Curio Collection by Hilton *****. We thank you for the high marks given to your stay! Be assured that your kind comment will be shared with the whole team :) The rooms are equipped with an eco-friendly lighting system that allows you to turn everything off with a single button on your way out. At your request, reception, which is available all night, can help you with this. The hotel parking lot costs €18 and is guarded all night by a security guard. At Hameau Des Pesquiers we love our furry friends! A 20€ supplement is applied as it takes longer to clean the room after your departure. We prefer to offer the entire contents of the mini-bar (organic fruit juices, craft beers, etc.), which is consumed by all our guests. In addition to the usual goodies, breakfast costs €38 per person and includes rice pudding, pancakes and crepes made on site, smoked salmon, farmer's cheese, dried fruit and berries, four different kinds of eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, a honey bar and five different kinds of bread. We hope to see you again soon in our establishment. Best regards, The front desk office

Verified reviewThis hotel was such a wonderful escape and surprise! The room was large with a tub area in addition to a n oversized shower in the bathroom. The bed was great and the room was beautifully decorated and overlooking nature There was a lovely bar outside with a terrasse that was very relaxing and surrounded by nature. The spa area was lovely as well, although we did not get a massage. It was a bit too cold for the beach, but the grounds of the property were so beautiful. They have several daybeds, a garden with lemon trees, and direct access to the beach. We checked in at 1am and the hotel ensured that there was a staff member available to check us in and walk us to our rooms. This was such a great experience and we would recommend it to anyone looking for an escape in the south of france!

Verified reviewLovely room, helpful staff. We were able to check in and hour early. Free minibar selection was a nice surprise! Easy access to the beach.
Paying €18 per night for parking at a 5* hotel was really irritating, especially when there aren’t any other options for parking and it’s the kind of location where you need a car. When it came to checking out, we had been charged twice for a restaurant bill.

Verified reviewIncredible room. Incredible location. Extremely comfortable and peaceful
I did not like the fact Breakfast was 40 euros per person. If you are not a big eater and just want a nice coffee with a croissant, this price is far too high. I did not like my spa treatment (massage) as it was of poor quality and overpriced for the final result. I did not like the fact you had to pay 20 euros per half day to get a beach lounger when in fact every single lounger was empty.
