Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI was warned not to open the windows due to mosquitos and no screens on the windows.
It’s in a beautiful setting that is quiet. Air conditioning kept the room at a nice temperate despite the hot weather. Breakfast was generous. The room was large and the bath was wonderful after a long day of driving.

Great welcome, lovely very large room with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful grounds, great pool with plenty of seating. Wonderful breakfast on the terrace as the weather was glorious. Very quiet but nearby there was so much to do and see, two nights was not enough.

United KingdomThe only downside was the lighting in the rooms was very bright white light. Could do with some warm lamps to make it more cosy. Maybe lower wattage bulbs.

PolandEverything was perfect.
Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of magical! The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed, offering the perfect blend of comfort and style. The owners were super kind, welcoming, and attentive, always ready to go above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Their warmth made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The restaurant was an absolute culinary masterpiece! The food was outstanding, made with authentic, high-quality ingredients that showcased the true flavors of France. Every dish was a delight – divine, rare, and unforgettable, leaving us in awe of the chef's talent. The elegant interiors of the dining area only added to the enchanting experience. Although we visited during the off-season, we felt completely pampered and cherished as guests. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with the exceptional service, made it a trip to remember. Without a doubt, we plan to return regularly to relive this incredible experience. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly special getaway!

SwitzerlandNothing to report. All good.
It is set in a lovely little park with a nice pond , willow tree and surrounded by trees, small forrest and vineyards. We had our 2 Golden Retrievers with us and the hotel is very dog friendly. The restaurant was good value for money. Excellent food and wines from the region and also their own vineyard. Try their Viognier. Excellent! Breakfast was fantastic! Excellent also for stop overs. Easy accessible from the A7 motorway.

NetherlandsThe bath tub in the bathroom with our room is not very practical to shower in, also for elder people to step into. It’s very decorative though and maybe they have rooms with walk-in shower too.
Surprisingly nice and very well maintained estate. The hotel part is characteristically restored with natural stone and timber beams, all with an eye for detail. Very spacious room, nicely decorated. The restaurant part is equally nice and with a great ambiance. The chef presented us delicious meals. The owners are great and very welcoming hosts and the restaurant staff is adorable.

United KingdomWould have preferred to have a shower as well as a bath in our room.
The room was so lovely, it was large, with a fireplace. The bed was large and comfy. It was beautifully decorated. The breakfast was nice, bread, pastries, coffee, no hot food. The host was very nice, very welcoming as was the young man that greeted us when we arrived. The restaurant was beautifully decorated too. The food was amazing, cooked and presented perfectly, would definately recomend eating there. The waiter at the restaurant was really nice and tried to understand us and translate(with help from another guest) as we can't speak French. The grounds are so pretty, with the lake and vineyard. Lovely courtyard to sit out and have drinks.

United KingdomMinor and not really within anyone’s control, but as soon as our food arrived we were surrounded by flies that we were having to constantly bat away from our food, maybe some insect repellents or candles would have helped!
A beautiful bed and breakfast, nice big rooms with v comfortable beds. The location is wonderful, feels very quiet and secluded, with lovely gardens and views. The pool area was absolutely perfect, enclosed with shady areas which was perfect for our small children. As there are only 5 rooms it didn’t feel overcrowded. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast the following day. Nathalie was a wonderful host, nothing felt like too much trouble. We wished we could have stayed longer!
