Very clean, fresh and rooms were large. Great location and very helpful staff on reception who couldn’t do more for you. The toiletries (clarins) were really nice and the tea/coffee (nespresso) was replenished daily along with a room clean.

I really enjoyed my stay the staff were friendly but not overly so which was a bit disappointing. Perfectly ok though. I’d have liked a window to open in my room despite the efficient air conditioning. There was one in my bathroom but I had to keep the door shut as there was a drip drip going on! No lift and no help carrying my bag - minor grouch!

Fantastic location. Within walking distance of the main things in the centre. Buy the day trip on the tourist bus and you can hop on and off as you fancy. I visited the antiques street - Village Notre Dame, the WW2 German U boat base - really fascinating and now with colourful projections inside and finally many other interesting sites. My room was was a good size with a comfortable bed and very efficient air conditioning. The main feature in my opinion was the bathroom which was very smart and with lots of accessories. The breakfast was €14 extra - make sure you get good value for money by eating lots of different things and enjoying several cups of coffee. I had a boiled egg some prunes some orange juice 2 types of toast delicious crispy mini croissants and fresh bread with nice apricot jam.

I loved the size of the room. It had air conditioning and a bath tub. The room had its own fridge! The bathroom was well stocked. The room was extremely comfortable. We stumbled upon this hotel and met Hamid Amazuuz. He was so kind and hospitable that we decided to return to Bordeaux and stay at his hotel, we were absolutely not disappointed !

No shelf in the shower to put my toiletries so had to put on the floor.

Location is great, walking distance to Meriadeck tram station (for easy access to airport). Close to central attractions and good food options - we mostly walked to our destinations. Rooms were very comfortably furnished. Quiet and good blackout curtains. Felt very safe. Highlight of the stay was the warm hospitality shown by the hotel staff, who were so cheerful, attentive and helpful. Airline delivered my lost luggage at night and Samy was so kind to carry it upstairs and place it in my room whilst I was out, so I could have the bag the same night despite getting back after reception closed. Loved this hotel and I’m sure you will too!

Room was very comfortable and the en-suite was a great size. Samy was extremely welcoming and very helpful. Great location for Bordeaux centre. Breakfast was good-the home baking was a nice touch.

The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly fine for a weekend trip. Just a heads-up: there’s no lift and the staircase is quite narrow and steep, which wasn’t an issue for me with a small carry-on, but could be tricky with larger luggage.

I stayed here for a few nights and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic – close to everything you’d want to see and do in Bordeaux. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. All in all, a charming spot and a good base for exploring the city.

Very expensive for a very dated hotel Banging door somewhere heard often! Clarins toiletries in the shower totally empty and staff unable to refill?! Lots of dusty bits - tops of lamps, door closure etc Other guests didn’t seem to be very considerate later in the evening
