Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsNot a room in a real appartment since the hotelroom was on the 4th floor (which is originally offices floor).
Access to the rooftop was excellent and wonderful experience. Very beautiful and interesting building. Original Le Corbusier furniture in the hotel room. View from our hotel room at the sea was very much appreciated.

United KingdomI think you stay here for a reason - the property is not unlike what would be government housing in the UK. For those interested in the history it is dream, for those uninterested or unable to understand a nightmare.

IrelandThe room seemed to have been divided into two rooms (I'm not sure if this was the original plan or a later decision). The room itself seemed to have been designed to accommodate a single bed - the double was a tight squeeze. The lighting was awkward; I was unable to get the original light fittings to operate and had to shift the lamp around to produce lighting usable from the bed.
Breakfast excellent. Fig jam and brioche, cold cuts, cheeses, fruit, toast, baguette ,croissants, tea and apple juice. Tour of building very good plus free access to roof space. I had a north facing room, so no sea view, but I sat on balcony for breakfast (and lunch) in cafe with uninterrupted panoramic view of the islands

AustraliaA real privilege for an architecture enthusiast to stay in this historic building! There are only a small amount of rooms that make up the hotel section. It felt quite exclusive staying across from real residents. I enjoyed exploring the building and paid for breakfast to spend time in the dining area.

IrelandEven in October we found our small room to be quite hot and stuffy, especially at night. The air conditioning fans were located right above the bed which made it unpleasant to leave on constantly throughout the night. This meant we would be woken through the night feeling too hot, turn on the AC for 15 mins to cool the room before switching back off. We stayed for three nights and experienced broken sleep on all three nights. A small price to pay.
The building is absolutely stunning, to stay in such a location was very special and I'm absolutely glad I booked to stay here. The architect's dream. Staff were friendly on check-in and everything was smooth and easy. Parking is available for our rented car. The room was small but comfortable and the balcony had a lovely view. The real attraction to staying here is that you become 'a resident' of the building, with access to parts of the roof not open to the public, and access at times the public are not permitted. We were able to explore and engage with the building on our own and that was a very special experience.

United KingdomThe maintenance is not great. Light bulbs not replaced and the hot water stopped working in my shower.
If you are interested in the architecture of Corbu this is a must. Access is available to a large part of the building including most of the roof terrace. It's located well away from the port area but the transport connections are frequent and inexpensive. The road that runs past Unite is pretty busy and noisy as are the parakeets which live in the trees. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant which is a fascinating space is well worth the extra payment and much better value than the cafe next door.

This is an iconic masterpiece in the history of architecture. The joy was just being in the space. The rooms are original, so they are small, but delightful.

FranceThere could've been a few more plug sockets. Had to heat the kettle on the floor as there were only two sockets in the room.

United KingdomWe would have liked to eat in the restaurant - the tasting menu was just not of interest and out of our price bracket - but we would have paid a premium price for a more normal meal!
Staying at L'Unite d'Habitation was a lifelong ambition and I was not disappointed. Beautifully refurbished preserving the spirit of Le Corbusier - but with a better bathroom! Breakfast was excellent and in such a lovely environment. Bus and metro route back to Marseille central easy and cheap. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very friendly, we enjoyed the bookshop and access to the building afforded to us as temporary residents.
