Xavier was welcoming and looked after us including booking a very good restaurant for us in Cambrai. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable

We would have liked check in time to be earlier than 18.00. We would only stay there in winter if we could check in at 16.00. But we didn’t ask so don’t know if this would be acceptable or not.

We were warmly greeted by Xavier and shown to our room. It was spacious, stylish and comfortable and had a lovely en-suite shower room and separate toilet. We had taken a picnic for the evening as after a long drive we didn’t want to go out again and Xavier immediately provided us with plates, wine glasses etc to sit at a table outside in the courtyard. Simple but good breakfast with fresh bread, croissants and home made jam and yoghurts.

Mr. Xavier is a master in creativity. Room is very clean, modern and has everything you want. Xavier has even an outdoor orchestra! Don't forget to see the chearleaders! Congrats to Xavier!

Convenient location 90 minutes from Calais ports. Host was very friendly and helpful. Plentiful breakfast of fresh croissants, baguettes and home-made jams. EV charging available. The host will book you dinner in a local restaurant if required.

Really nice place and I've stayed here before en route to the south of France from UK. The owner is very friendly, he provided us with some plates and cuttlery to eat our evening picnic in the farmyard, breakfast was lovely including home made jam. We had the family room just for the 2 of us which was lovely. The village was on the front lines of the fighting in WW1 and was largely destroyed and later rebuilt, there are some interesting history info boards near the church. The countryside around it is very peaceful if you want an evening walk and it was very quiet at night.

Le Clos Xavianne was a most wonderful find in the courtyard of a farm which had been in the family for 6 generations. Our room was spotless and our host was absolutely delightful. He couldn't do enough for us, providing us with 4 different home made jams at breakfast and me with some delicious gluten free bread! Staying here you would be ideally placed to visit WW1 sites and museums too. We would love to go back. Merci beaucoup Xavier!

It was a good location for our travelling back from the south of France. Xavier, our host, was very helpful on our arrival and booked a restaurant in Cambrai for us as requested. A comfortable stay to end our vacation.

Only one very small thing, could do with just a little bit more variety for breakfast.

The owner was very welcoming. Rooms were nice and bed comfortable. Home-made jam was lush and he gave us all a large pot of to take home.

Very ‘quaint’ place. A beautiful room with a comfortable bed and great shower. Room was nice and big and we enjoyed a peaceful night. Xavier was a wonderful host, friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was one of the best on our travels. His home made preserves were delicious. We were mildly disappointed that there wasn’t somewhere within walking distance to have dinner but it wouldn’t put us off going again.
