Isabelle was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast. Great location with a good value auberge a short walk away. If we need to stay in this area again we will definitely go back.

Plumper pillows would have been nice, although flat pillows seem to be standard in many European hotels...

Isabelle and Bruno were really attentive and hospitable hosts, making us feel very welcome. The building is beautiful and our room was lovely and large (but cosy). We liked that there was an abundance of places to sit: a sofa and multiple chairs. Breakfast was great too. There was such a large selection of food!

Isobel and Bruno went far beyond what we expected to ensure we had everything we needed. We were able to book in earlier than stated and they allowed us to park in a much more convenient place because of mobility issues.

Variety at Breakfast. The usual petit dejeuner plus extra delights like local cheeses, freshly cut fruit, and lesser known delicious pastries. Host is fantastic, patient and generous and was very kind to help us source food on a Sunday eve! Value for money of the stay was great, given the proximity to the Tour de France !

The lady running it was excellent Attentive Made to feel really welcome got a welcome drink and cheese and biscuits and told us where there was a good restaurant to eat. Also breakfast was excellent.

Having a welcome drink with some local cheese and sitting in the sunny courtyard was a great start to our stay. Isabelle was welcoming and friendly. Twin beds were very comfortable and there was effective air conditioning. The breakfast was lovely, generous and included some gluten free items for my husband. Would recommend.

Amazing place to stay! Isabelle was an amazing host who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She helped us with all our questions. When a friend of us got sick, she even brought him to the train station the next day. The studios are very nice, super clean and have everything you need. The breakfast was way much better than what you usually get at other hotels. The village is cozy and has a restaurant, café, bakery and supermarket. We would definitely come back and we can highly recommend Le Clos to everyone.

Fantastic personal welcome from the owners. Wonderfully quirky room. Great conversation with our hosts. Excellent breakfast. Lovely quiet garden. Perfect for an overnight before the tunnel the next day.

resaurants closed in village

Having travelled France extensivly over the years I can honestly say these are the nicest couple I have ever come accros so helpfull nothing too much trouble breakfast was great I wouls 100% recommed only thing is check when local restaurants are open as a bit hit and miss as we wanted to park car and walk to village but had to drive 10 miles only downside but worth checking.

amazingly generous hosts, with both their time and their welcome. A 'hello' drink on arrival, a delicious breakfast with far more on offer than we could eat, and the warmest of welcomes for a first time visitor. It won't be our last visit, I am sure!

Le Clos is in a lovely little town with an excellent inn for weekday lunch and Friday and Saturday dinner. There is a tourist office with leaflets for several walks starting from the centre. Isabelle and Bruno are generous and warm hosts. Our room was large, and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom had a bathtub with separate shower. Downstairs a lovely sitting room with wood burner and next to it the breakfast room where they produced a wonderful breakfast including local cheeses and yoghurts.
