Beautiful grounds. Nicely decorated suite. Peaceful setting. Staff was welcoming and gracious. A very nice place to collect oneself after a day of driving and sightseeing.

It is a unique and beautiful property with a lovely mix of comfort and historic charm. It is exceptionally quiet and the grounds were pleasant for walking. The charcuterie tray we requested as a light evening meal was beautifully presented and delicious and breakfast had a generous offering of tasty and satisfying options.

The most elegant house I have ever stayed in. From the grounds to the entrance hall to the bedroom everything b was superb. The property is a credit to the owners. After a huge disappoint earlier in our trip from South to Northern France this was the highlight of the trip

Le Château de Fresnoy en Gohelle was a warm and stunning place, we enjoyed our stay very much, with elegant rooms and charming grounds the place was magnificent. Jannick was exceptionally great and took care of us during our stay. One of my favourite parts was breakfast, beautifully presented, it was delicious and the service from Jannick was first class. The best part was the pastries, simply heavenly. Thanks for a great stay we will definitely be back, great ambience truly 5 star service highly recommended.

Beautiful small château in a country side village. Spacious room (double room superior), nicely decorated, clean and comfortable beed. We spent the evening on the terrace eating cheese and snacks, which we brought with us. I don't think there is a restaurant in the village. It was too cold to use the pool but it looked nice. Excellent breakfast.

Our hostess, Jannick, was wonderfu. She was very welcoming and friendly and very professional. Her sense of style and taste in decor was second to none. Her attention to detail in providing an exceptional experience is one I will never forget. I highly recommend anyone interested in the history of Vimy Ridge and the surrounding area stay with Jannick at her families marvellous chateau. Nothing not to like. The location is a bit hidden but that's not really their fault. Pay attention to the check-in hours but if have a special request, it can be arranged. Many thanks to Daphne for her flexibility and will to help in our case.

The château is superbly decorated, the attention to details in the room extraordinary and the warmth of the host throughout our stay all made it our best b&b experience in the last couple of years. The breakfast is amazing, the beds really comfortable, and we will surely consider to come here again if in the area.

Beautiful house in lovely gardens. Fabulous roof terrace to enjoy a warm summer’s evening. We had a platter for 2 delivered for our evening meal which was sensational. Breakfast was superb - lovely fresh ingredients and excellent service.

It’s in a remote rural area with few options for evening dining. Our host directed us to the one decent spot.

We chose this place because of its proximity to Vimy. We are Canadians and wanted to stay in the area after our visit to the WWI Memorial. This beautifully restored and modernized Manor House far exceeded expectations. The breakfast was delicious and served in an elegant setting.

This was our second stay at Le Chateau, the first being 5 years ago. We stayed just 2 nights but it was a wonderful stay. The location is so quiet and peaceful it is impossible not to relax. We visited a number of the Canadian war sites in the area and it's a perfect location for visiting Vimy, Arras and the entire region. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The blackout shades on the window were perfect for sleeping early after our overnight flight from Canada. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the setting of the dining room is perfect. Will love to come back again.
