The walls are thin and the doors make a lot of noice. We could hear people in the bathroom next door and the 3rd floor showers are not working.

The room was nicely recucled. The host was very friendly and accomodating. There is free parking nearby. This accomodation is cheap for a reason.

The stairs leading up to the different floors stank of urine. The rooms were a little small.

The building is full of character, old features remain in the building. Small shower in one of the rooms but there were 2 larger shared showers in the landing. There was AC in the rooms. The location is great- walking around the old town at night was lovely and peaceful. There was a cute market on the streets in the morning selling clothes and jewellery. Lots of food places and restaurants nearby and open till quite late.

The shared bathrooms could be updated and cleaned regularly. Mould growing on the walls and ceilings in some bathrooms. Toilet near reception is very smelly, not from use but from pipes???? Poor lighting in rooms and bathrooms. the big dog is a bit scary. Noise from other guests as the walls are a bit thin. It would be good for staff to inform guests to operate their zips and bags quietly. Loud footsteps from other guests. Like rampaging elephants.

Central location, it suited our needs, was easy for our friends to pick us up. Close to shops. Warm room. Some staff were friendly

1. The instructions how to get into the hotel after 7pm were sent to me the last minute before my arrival regardless numerous messages and reminders I’ve sent to the staff in advance 2. I’ve booked 2 rooms and there were no towels in both of them 3. Nobody informed and asked about if we need a breakfast. In the morning we found out that breakfast has to be reserved in advance.

I had no hot water at all, after a long bike ride, I really wanted a hot shower. I told the staff who confirmed they also had no hot water. She said she would contact her manager, but it still wasn't fixed the next morning. The bathroom was like a plane toilet in a corner of the room. The room hadn't been swept in a long time. I would not book here again, I considered leaving, but carrying my bike back down a spiral staircase helped my decision to just sleep and leave after breakfast.

Such a refreshing charming place to stay. Totally opposite of chain hotels..they have kept a lot of the original features thank heavens..not IKEA!! The people who work there are happy smiley people. The location is excellent, near restaurants and bars and a Carrefour Express shop. Nearby is a lovely old church and a short easy walk down to a beautiful river.
