A lovely stay overnight on our way to the Alps. Ismael was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us a wonderful breakfast the next morning (homemade yoghurt and jams a highlight as well as beautiful fresh fruit which our daughters loved)

Our stay at Le Carge d'Arlay was absolutely wonderful! From the warm welcome to the beautifully designed and spotless rooms, everything was perfect. The bed was incredibly cozy, and the peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing stay. Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared, with homemade jam and yogurts adding a special touch. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of southern Burgundy. Thanks for your amazing hospitality!

Stairs to carry suitcase. (This should have been expected though). May be too many pillows (wonder why hotels are so obsessed with pillows...Did not really know where to put those we did not need (as you normally need just one, unless you are 3-headed dragon), as there was no special space to store pillows, and only one small chair. Not a big deal, of course, just wondering

The host is attentive, friendly, and ready to help. We were quickly shown to our room, without any check-in formalities to delay the process. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was also great.

A convenient stop on our travels further south. It is slightly off the beaten track but only a short distance from the main roads - would not have found it apart from the Booking.com. The room we had was excellent and possibly one of the best night sleeps I've ever had. Evening meal - either BBQ or pizza was a great addition so that we did not have to go out.

If you're planning to stay near Macôn, look no further. Rooms are originally decorated and are very comfortable. All the room amenities are new. The host is super friendly and takes really good care of you. Breakfast is awesome and is served by the host personally.

This was an overnight stay on our drive back to the UK. We were leaving before breakfast, but the host very kindly produced a travelling breakfast for us. Very nice touch.

If you sleep on the bottom floor the footsteps above you are very present. But that’s the price you pay for staying in a charming building I guess

Room was great, staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best surprise was the breakfast with home made yoghurts, juices and jams. I was also able to charge my car.
