United KingdomShower in the bath was too low in room 17 so found hair washing difficult and very uncomfortable. Didn't like that they never checked our room number when we ordered drinks so we had to keep a list of what we ordered.
Lovely restaurant. Lovely spacious room with great sea views. Staff were great. Location was good for where we wanted to go.

United KingdomThe only downside is that the restaurant doesn't open on a Wednesday nor does the Thai food bar. There are other restaurants nearby but if walking in the evening be advised that there are no street lights along the way

BelgiumTwo points: must keep in mind that there is no lift but stairs to the rooms (in three floors) and no air conditioning (though a big fan was already available in our room). A mini fridge in the room could be useful.
Nice view to the sea, big room, comfortable beddings, good sized bathroom, everyday cleaning, water bottles offered every day, kettle available. Very good breakfast buffet. Friendly staff, maps and guides of the region supplied. The wonderful restaurant with panoramic view to the sea is very worth trying it. There is also a Thai restaurant in the hotel but we didn’t have the chance to taste its food. Perfect location for long walks next to the Britton seaside landscape.

United KingdomNothing to do with hotel but now we have seen Cancale we would probably prefer to base ourselves there. Also beaches in Le Vivier are separated from the land by "marais" so if tide out it is a bit of a hike to the sea.
Good location for touring. Very helpful receptionist - their restaurant was shut because of the season but she went out of her way to point us to several restaurants who would likely be open on a Monday night and give us their telephone numbers. Breakfast was good, tho' continental.
