A piece of heaven and very friendly plus helpful staff. Highly recommended.

Lovely room at L’orée du bois. Swimming pool to cool off and spa to change in. A/c very much appreciated.

Shuttle to town would have been good, coffee machine not working properly. Slow check in.

Location, terrace, swimming pool, SPA (massage was excellent).

Cleanliness needs to improve a lot. Some employees could be friendlier. Bathrooms need to be renewed, they're hideous.

The view is wonderful.

The interior design needs a refreshment. Also the food needs an update.

Nice view. Slow service. Food mediocre. Toilet didn’t work in the room. Never offered anything the next morning except to fix the toilet. Ukrainian server was lovely. Received our wine after our first course. Food was disappointing

Delightful laidback hotel in the countryside with plentiful discrete parking, huge 24 hr pool, good food and air conditioning. Staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and well-trained. Choice of simple bistro or elaborate restaurant food, both with vegetarian options. Book ahead for the restaurant (has great views).

Room excellent value in peak season for a one night stay (100€), comfortable and cool, large double bed. Happy to forgive them for the dated, basic bathroom. Loved the little touches, and commitment to helping nature and birdlife on the site. Might need to reconsider the poolside lighting (filters/dimmers?) to reduce insect deaths.

As pilgrims it was a complete restorative with the pools, jacuzzi & sauna. The menu looked a bit strange on paper but all tasted good

Breakfast was not completely ready at 7.30 (not a problem for most guests) & staff not overly helpful at explaining how the self service worked. But selection was excellent.

CheapnGitesvwoyldbhave collected us from the Chemin 5 km away Not much help with that so had to walk It When you Pay 360 a night could have done that at a fee

The views from the hotel over the pool were amazing particularly as there was a big thunder and lightening storm while eating our dinner. The dinner was light and delicious - every course.

Very little to mention except that plugs to charge mobile phones were accessed with difficulty. We were walking the Camino and had to take a taxi from local town and back next morning as hotel is not next to the GR65. However this went smoothly through the hotel.

We loved our stay at The Belvedere. The service was amazing. The rooms/bathroom could be a little updated

Excellent kitchen!

Once found after several sat nav calamities it's a place you don't want to leave. Very friendly and helpful staff with an understated atmosphere setting it apart from the stunning view of the valley below , made even more magical with the optics of the large infinity pool. Food in the restaurant both breakfast and dinner were of a high standard. I would love to have stayed longer. You need a car with a good satnav to access though!

Room floor gritty (asked for it to be swept morning 1- it was not,ever) shower drain not working properly flooded bathroom (reported this - stayed the same. Room tired & poor quality. Bar drinks very expensive 4*+/5* prices Pool towels @ €5/each/day - no hotel I've ever stayed in charges this. We've stayed here twice this year but not likely to again
