The front bedroom can be a little noisy from the traffic so maybe best to put lighter sleepers in the two back bedrooms. While the front room has shutters they do not really block the light so some blackout blinds would be great so again maybe not great for a light sleeper. However, the above are minor comments in overall what is a really beautiful apartment.

The apartment is really beautiful and just like the photos. We were a group of 4 so had ample space in terms of beds, bathrooms and living space. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need. There is a washing machine but we didn’t use it. The location is very convenient in between the Cite and the new town for restaurants and site seeing. The pizzeria a few doors down is a quickly and tasty option!

The location Across from a well stocked bakery and bottle store. Within walking distance of the castle and quaint restaurants.

The AC was not so strong, and the door handles didn’t lock easily (i do get it though, the doors were all original).

It has great views of Chateau Comtal right from your balcony! It’s quiet and has ample parking behind the property. It was very clean, super spacious and easily fit our family of 5.

Rooms didn’t all have en-suite toilets and the front main bedroom was beautiful but traffic woke me up on some days.

Loved the spacious rooms and nice decor. Great location. Easy to access and apartment was well equipped everything from kitchen equipment, coffee maker etc.

The apartment was beautiful and so spacious. Had everything we needed plus more. The host was very responsive and the location was perfect, bang in the middle of the old city and the centre ville. Walking distance to the train station.

No wash basin with the main toilet.

The apartment is in an exceptional location. We opened our front balcony louvres and there was a birds eye view of the castle and the river. Its also close to the new town.The apartment itself is lovely. So spacious and everything provided.

One of the rooms was not dark at night due to the street lights. A blackout on the windows would’ve made it more comfortable. I also missed a bread knife.

Magnificent view of the castle. Easy access to the city center. Free parking nearby. Large apartment with nice living and dining rooms for a family reunion.

Kitchen could have a few more utensils for when cooking (only one knife and large spoon for cooking) Apart from main bedroom at the front storage a slight problem in the other 2 - plenty of space in them for a chest of drawers for storage.

Excellent communication from hosts before and during the our stay (they had arranged to a maintenance issue to be sorted the day after we arrived). Location is excellent - front windows overlooking the old city. All three bedrooms were excellent sizes and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were good - 2 shower rooms (one en-suite) and 2 toilets (one en suite)

Given how immaculate things were, we were baffled by the toilet facilities. For two days, we thought there was only one toilet, annoyingly separate from the bedrooms and shower rooms. Then we discovered another toilet off one of the bedrooms (in what we had thought was a cupboard). But it was disgusting and you could barely squeeze past the sink to get to it. To give such attention to detail in every other respect and then to discover this poor excuse for a toilet makes no sense. It would not put us off booking again but….. come on owners. Invest in your toilet facilities please. Oh, and buy a cafetière!

The property is beautifully decorated with real attention to detail. It is spacious, well-equipped and in a perfect spot that allows you to explore Carcassonne on foot. We would happily stay here again.

The largest bedroom fronted a main road. Consequently there was a lot of road noise until late making sleep difficult.

Good location with easy access to the Centre. The air conditioning was needed as it was very hot.

The road facing bedroom is very noisy with scooters going up and down the road all night. Showers and toilets in different rooms. Steps of stairs can prove difficult to navigate and would not be easy for someone wilt reduced mobility

The place is good It is a large old renovated building but is very nice with balconies looking out over the road and river. The View of the medieval city is fantastic The Building is spacious with aircon in every room. It has all the modern equipment to make your stay comfortable

For some reason we couldn’t see any responses from the host. We had to call booking.com several times to find out what was going on and how we could access the property. I don’t think we received a reply about if there was a travel cot either so we took one with us , it was a good job as there wasn’t one.

Bathroom facilities - one wc in a very small space off one bedroom, the other off the hall. Didn’t get this impression when booking the conveniences were a bit ….. inconvenient

Very little to dislike. Balcony is a little smaller than it appears in the photos but it’s big enough to stand outside with a morning coffee or evening glass of wine to admire the view. Just one toilet & separate bathroom - fine for us a couple. For four people - not a major issue either but may be a bit of queuing involved.

Very good location beside the river & with gorgeous views of the old city from the windows & balcony. Easy walking distance to the old city & the new city square. Good restaurants in walking distance too. Well equipped, comfortable & very spacious. Excellent value & easy communications around checking in and departure.

The 'secret toilet' could maybe have used a bit more bleach in the bowl. But such a small thing. Oh, and we didn't find a drying up cloth, again nothing major.

The apartment was perfectly located between the shops and the medieval city. Both were very easy to get to. The view of the medieval city from the apartment was picture postcard. Our children especially felt the apartment was 'posh'. As adults we defintely felt is was furnished and decorated to a high standard.
