The steep, vertical staircase. I was assigned to stay on the 2nd floor while I carried a 28” luggage with me as a petite woman. I found it very difficult to move my big bag up as struggled when I couldn’t even walk in parallel with the luggage. When I moved the luggage down, my luggage was stuck in the staircase and it took me some time to go down…

The hotel manager is very nice. He sent a reminder via the app and WhatsApp before the check-in. The room overall is decent and clean, perfect for 1-2 guests.

Beautifully presented with lovely splashes of personality in the room and throughout the building. Short walk to old town. I would say if you have access issues be warned that the stairway leading up to the top floor rooms is typical of a house of this age (very steep and narrow!) I don’t want to say that’s a negative- it’s full of character!

The apartment was extremely small. Hard to fit the luggage somewhere. Very cold for some reason, even though heating was turned on. Could easily hear noises from the staricase and neighboring apartments. Toilet also very cramped, a bit difficult for a bigger person to manage.

Solid, clean enough and at a good and calm location. Perfect for an affordable one night stay.

Lighting inside foyer entrance. Heat didn’t work in bedroom but works in main area, so it was alright.

The towels could do with a change. Also we had no hot water in the room where we stayed.

The room was cleaned to a very good standard. . We loved the prettiness of the layout. Even though it was quite cosy it was still bright and plenty of daylight coming in.

Nothing I didn't like. But I would have liked an iron and ironing board. There is probably no space for a clothes washing machine, but I would have liked one The shower was fine for me, but I think some people of larger proportions might find it a tight fit

Loved the apartment. It was spacious enough for my stay. Everything in good order and I really loved that there were coffee capsules available. Access was perfect with codes and no keys. Great location. Really enjoyed my stay here

Maybe a few more kitchen appliances. More attention to cleaning in some corners (ie: cobwebs) :). It's only minor things. We had a great stay!

Exactly as described , location perfect for our trip and east walk to cite centre Parking at main car park ( by the fairground) was 19 euro for 24 hours. Street parking is a no - max 5 hours and expensive

Very steep stairs to the top floor, understandable considering the age of the house but difficult with luggage. The mattress on the sofa bed is lower in the middle.

The soundproofing is a bit weak and the room was a bit more dated than the photos suggested, but these were not major problems during our stay there.

The facilities were clean and the price was good given the very central location in Vieux Lille. The host/manager was very nice and the check-in process was very smooth.

Lovely location, in the old town and near a large park. Easy to walk to other areas of the town, or travel by public transport. Lots of bars, eateries, interesting shops and historic buildings within easy reach. The flat has character and much thought has gone into presenting it. The flat is fairly small, but plenty enough room for a couple. The best use has been made of the available space, making it useful and comfortable.
