Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomLate season ski trip, this was a perfect location next to the ski hire shops, lift pass office, and 3 lifts. Really great value for money with very good quality food in the restaurant

United KingdomParking expensive, and difficult. I had to park miles away from the site even booking in advance. Avoid bringing a car if you can. Spa not included in price. Rooms are ok but are looking a bit tired and dated.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner was awesome. All-inclusive was tremendous, staff were very generous with alcohol and the choice and quality of food every day really was excellent. Lovely views from the room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and an extremely hard working, we were really impressed! Located right on the ski slope super easy.

United KingdomBasic rooms, noisier than they should be, wifi is useless outside of the bar area. Dinner quality wasn't as good as we expected. Spa is a bit small and not really worth the money. Car parking is expensive and irritating (not Belambra's issue)
Nice people. Great breakfasts. Walk straight out onto the piste. Well run and well-stocked bar. Nice random pop-ups (the crêpes were excellent) Housekeeping staff were very good (and very nice).

United KingdomThe bar area could get quite busy in the early evening. The rooms were a little bit tired and could do with an update. There were some really bad smells coming from the boot room.
Fantastic hotel, great location, ski to door, great for families and kids. Lots of activities in the evenings from karaoke to casino. The spa was a welcome treat at the end of a days skiing.

United KingdomNot really anything to not like - we had a room near reception - i would imagine if your room was further away it could be a pain as long corridors to negotiate.
Great location right next to the slopes and the main lifts. Restaurant was good, plenty of variety and very tasty. All inclusive was great and flexible, all you needed to make a packed lunch if going to be out all day and the staff worked tirelessly to make everyone feel wellcome. Rooms were comfy not luxury but everything you needed was there.

United KingdomThe spa is quite expensive considering how small the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are. The pillows on the beds are uncomfortable. It wasn’t easy showering with the shower over the bath and no shower curtain.
The unlimited food and drink - good variety and all very tasty. The hotel is right next to the slopes and lifts so very conveniently located. Comfortable room with everything I needed.

EstoniaSometimes the dishes did not look very clean.
We loved that we could step out of the hotel door to ski and step in to the hotel to eat lunch. Very convenient. The food was very good and something new was offered every day. We had all inclusive and it was the right choice. Also a good selection of drinks in the bar. And the staff were always friendly and smiling.

United KingdomMy wife got food poisoning and when we told the staff about this they were not helpful at all. My wife wanted some plain food in the day after not eating for 24 hours and we asked for plain cornflakes to help her palate some food. The staff refused to ask or help get any from the restaurant despite the fact corn flakes were available every morning. We also asked for a hot water bottle to help with my wife's stomach cramps and the staff could not provide any.

IrelandI'd really recommend this hotel. Some feedback for the hotel would be we'd love to see a local beer available on draught "bière pression". Would not be a fan of the choice between a Dutch beer and a strong Belgian beer. It's a pity you don't have a local beer or even a French beer, something like Kronenbourg, 1664 etc. Another aspect was some evenings we found the music too loud for the bar, nothing major but it did on occasion impact our enjoyment of the apéro as we couldn't hear each other in the bar. These points should not deter anyone from going to this hotel, they are mainly for management staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be returning.
It was our third time in Hôtel du golf and we loved it. We had a fabulous ski holiday and the location of the hotel is key for us. Ski-in-ski-out, ski rental next door, next to ski lifts, and resort carpark nearby. We really like the all inclusive aspect of the hotel, makes our holiday hassle free. The food is great, lots of choice and good quality and we liked the new addition of the sparkling water fountain. We had a lovely dinner in the Savoyard restaurant one night. Staff are very helpful and do great work. We hope to be back again next year!

United Arab EmiratesDespite the pictures the pool was shut and the spa facilities were an additional charge - the pictures were misleading. For an all-inclusive package in a ski resort this is a very poor offer. The all-inclusive package was very poor - the bar was so busy there was no where to sit and it took far too long to order a drink. There was insufficient space in the dining room and most of the tables were drily and not cleared fast enough. The food was very poor and there were no fresh orange juice, couldn’t get a flat white coffee, buffet style food that went cold or dishes had run out e.g. bacon at breakfast. The out door terrace was open for lunch but was so over capacity that it was impossible to get a table. There were many elements like this that were not made clear what was and was not included in our stay. The staff were not that friendly, many struggled with English and were clearly under pressure (leading to the lack of clearance of places for meal times). The hotel was dated and was very ugly and really needs to be upgraded significantly - there were lots of staircases to climb up and down to breakfast and the hallways need an upgrade.
Good location.

United KingdomThe biggest issue was that we had only booked the hotel because it said it had. a pool and spa, and showed pictures of them, but when we arrived there was no pool and the hot tube was an extra 45 euro per day for 3 of us to use. The food was fairly poor. One day the chef was cutting pork with her hands and throwing it onto the plates with her bare hands without gloves which was unhygienic.
