The Villa was a great place to commence our stay in France. The host speaks English which was a bonus, breakfast on the terrace with homemade delicacies was a treat. Didier gave us excellent recommendations to explore the surrounds, Canal du Midi, restaurants & wineries. The Villa has been thoughtfully restored with old juxtaposed with the new. We found it interesting architecturally. We’d definitely stay again.

Arlette and Didier were very welcoming and friendly. The villa has been beautifully refurbished and our room was spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. The hosts were extremely helpful in recommending us somewhere for dinner…and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the property and town. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

The property is fantastic and conveniently located. There is free on premise parking. The room was amazing! The bed comfortable and a huge bathroom. The hosts were caring and professional. The breakfast was marvellous!

Everything at La Villa du Chai was excellent.

Arlette and Didier are the best hosts. They welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room, which was spacious, comfortable and elegantly furnished. Everything is of the highest quality. The location is most convenient, close to the railway station and yet very quiet. There is parking right at the front door. The breakfast was outstanding, including a beautiful fruit salad, fresh orange juice and coffee. In addition there was bread and croissants with Arlette’s jam homemade using local fruits. A special treat was Arlette’s cake made from local pear. This was one of the best breakfasts in our entire holiday. We were only here for one night, but we would stay here again as it quite simply perfect. Thank you Arlette and Didier for a wonderful stay.

We walked into the small town but it wasn't a great experience and wouldn't recommend it. Because of this experience, we were glad that the price included a great breakfast (which we wouldn't normally do).

The breakfast was amazing and was served at the table. The hosts tried their best to make us feel at home. The property was a period style building with grand rooms and it made a pleasant change from the modern boxes we usually end up with. The location was very close to the railway station so it was fabulous to catch a local train and in 30 minutes we were in Carcassonne for a day out.

The place was beautifully decorated and renovated, and the owners were splendidly kind and attentive. The breakfast was top notch, eating pastries made from local apricots among many others. Would definitely stay here again.

The town where the B&B is located is not very attractive, but once in the B&B, one forgets about that and enjoys the amenities.

The breakfast was generous, delicious and featured local produce. The accomodations were very comfortable and stylish. The hosts were so very friendly and helpful in making suggestions for visiting attractions in the region.

Hosts were extremely welcoming. Breakfast was very good. Arlette is a wonderful baker. Our room and the whole house are beautifully decorated. Usually rooms with twin beds are not as pleasant as double rooms, that is not the case here. Highly recommend.
