Pierre was brilliant and so helpful! Location is so beautiful, easy to get to all parts of Carcassonne - especially the medieval Cité! Aircon was a huge benefit, so were the multiple fridges! Brilliant stay!

The apartment is a gem, excellent location and sensational view over the Medieval City. Perfect for a group of 6, it is comfortable, clean and well stocked.

Pierre’s apartment was tres magnifique! Perfectly located just a short walk into either the walled city or the “new” part of town. Pierre was readily available to answer questions. The view was UNBEATABLE! We will return to his place in a heartbeat!

This is without doubt the best place I have stayed on Booking.com. Everything from the kitchen and showers, to the location and view and the amazing host, is exceptional. I should mention, as we stayed in December, having aircon in every room was fantastic too. The beds are super comfortable. And there's loads of natural light. Also, we have a very large hire car and have had no problem parking it - which is amazing given how close we are to everything. It's a short walk up to the castle. And similarly short into town. 30m up the street for food supplies. Perfection!

We loved the communication with Pierre before and during our stay. The Gite was spacious, the beds were comfy and the view from the terrace was amazing! It was a very short walk into the walled city.

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I wish there was a blanket on the couch and a diffuser for the hair dryer but those are just recommendations. Honestly a great apartment.

The aesthetic of the apartment was great and the view was AMAZING! Easy walk to both the old castle and the downtown area. A cute shop a few doors down that had all the amenities we needed. We were even able to get groceries for breakfast each morning and dinner one night at that shop. So convenient.

Nothing - we loved it all!

The apartment was absolutely incredible. I travelled with my husband, mother and mother-in-law for a long weekend and we all had a wonderful time. You could not ask for a better location - and the view in the day and at night is just incredible. Pierre was an incredibly helpful host who gave us lots of information and was very responsive to messages. The beds were very comfy and the showers had lots of hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped and had all you needed to cook and eat on the terrace. The selection of wines you could buy was a brilliant addition

This place is fantastic, the view is wonderful and the location close to the cité is superb. The property had everything we needed and more - including a selection of wines from the region for purchase. Local shops were great and the welcome gift was very welcome and Pierre was a brilliant and very helpful host. Free parking is easy enough on local streets, and if it is busy just park in the local car park for a couple of hours and then move your car later. And for cycling it was very easy to get out in to the vineyards and countryside

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect.

The pictures don’t do it justice! An amazing property with the best view of Carcassonne! Immaculate and luxuriously appointed, no detail was spared. Our children immediately fell in love with the starry light ceiling. Location can’t be beat, easy access to the city and a lovely little grocery store less than two streets away. One of the most memorable residences we’ve ever stayed at, we sat on the deck with the local wine every night just enthralled by the view.

I have no complaint. The only negative was not having an assigned parking spot (which seems as though it's extremely rare for rooms in the area to offer parking) however street parking was quite easy to find and there are numerous free parking lots a short walk away.

This was the best place that we have stayed. In the world. The view is unmatched - there is no way that any other location has a better view of this walled city. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, large and airy, with very comfortable beds, and a lot of room to spread out. There is an incredible balcony/terrace with majaestic views of the walled city. The location made it easy to get to tourist attractions and the rest of the city of Carcassonne. The host was very easy to chat with and very kind. The photos on this site are accurate - however nothing could prepare us for how breathtaking the view is in real life.
