The room on top was noisy, you can hear everything from your neighbors. Creaking stairs.

The view from the top terrace is just amazing. If you are looking for one reason this one is most important and I don't regret the money ať all. Just sit on the top and enjoy dinner or breakfast with this view. The apartment is big, 3 separate bedrooms in 3 floors. Enough equipment. Parking in closed garage in the next street.

We couldn't get in when we arrived (after the check in time!) as the cleaning wasn't finished, so we were an hour delayed seeing the castle. Tried contacting staff but only heard back a few hours later.

Amazing view from upstairs balcony, cute and comfortable rooms. Three levels, so suitcases stayed downstairs. Complex parking procedure but nice with private spot we could see from the upstairs balcony.

Confusing parking situation as one would expect when a house is divided up into multiple apartments. Requires a code, remote, and key to get to the designated parking spot (which requires driving to the other side of the block to enter). Key to unlock the barrier was broken off in the lock when we arrived but the owner did come out and help unscrew the barrier out of the concrete for us.

The location was perfect. Close to nice restaurants with an AMAZING view of Carcassonne. The deck was perfect for viewing the lit city with a glass of wine in the evening and drinking a cup of coffee while playing Carcassonne in the morning.

The terrace with the excellent view of the Medieval city of Carcassone is the best characteristic of this spacious and comfortable vacation rental. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was always kind and responsive. I highly recommend staying at La Terrasse de Jules if visiting Carcassonne.

Double bed was a bit small for two people.

Great location, with Castle and river within easy walking distance. The view was amazing from the top deck. Apartment was clean and easy to use, parking instructions were little confusing at the start but we figured it out in the end with help from the host. If you’re looking for a good location this is perfect.

Stunning view from the balcony! The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. The host is very fast in all the communications and as well let us check in a bit earlier, thanks! The location is great, 10 min walk to the cite, there is also a shop close by to buy some food.

No communication with the owner, I messaged a couple of times with no response. Fortunately we didn’t have any issues so it wasn’t a big deal. Only one toilet roll for 3 nights, 2 people. The toilet area was a bit smelly and certain parts of the property are starting to feel a bit dated. The stairs are extremely creaky which means each time a person on the top floor needs to go to the toilet, which was on the floor below, it will probably wake everybody up. None of these things were major problems during the stay and the roof terrace and location more than made up for it.

The view from the roof terrace is beautiful, we spent a lot of time eating and drinking up here. Good kitchen area and plenty of utensils. Location is perfect for walking to the castle, and to the centre of Carcassonne over the bridge. 2 sets of locks to get in the property, felt very secure. It was a gorgeous safe area anyway.

The toilet could do with upgrading but it was minor in comparison to the rest of the facilities.

The location was fantastic, so close to the Cité and the new town. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. There was a lovely spacious garden and an upstairs balcony the view from which was beautiful, especially at night with the lights on the citadel.

We had a few problems not receiving communication from the property. Booking.com customer service was fantastic to make sure we had the key safe number. We couldn't connect to the wifi, I whatsapp'd the property number but unfortunately had no reply, so we had no internet. The following comments are to help the owners understand there are some things to improve to make the stay exceptional...The accommodation is starting to feel a little tired. Well equipped but the plates and glasses were chipped, the pedal bin was broken, the walls in the toilet could do with a lick of fresh paint.

Fantastic location easy for access to both medieval town via Aude Gate or over the vieux pont to the town. The uninterrupted view from the sun terrace was spectacular and was the highlight of the accommodation. The appartment is clean, good size, cool and secure. It really is a lovely appartment and slept well and had everything we needed for 3 days in Carcasonne.

We were unable to use wifi - although we could connect to network with provided login and password, the network required yet another login with an email and password that we did not have credentials for.

An excellent apartment with two terraces - on the lowest and upper-most levels. Comfy beds and exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. Amazing view of the castle from upper terrace.

We didn't like the lack if flexibility with check in. I had emailed Amin when I first booked asking if there would be any possibility of either an earlier check in or if we could leave our bags. Amin indicated that this would be possible and would let me know day before our arrival. I emailed again at airport as I had not heard anything, received email saying we could check in from 3pm. This restricted our experience of exploring Carcassonne on our first day, we were only there for 3 days. I was aware from the calendar that the apartment was empty the day before so couldn't understand why not ? This was not great as we had been up from 2.30am for a 6.30am flight. We have travelled all over Europe and have found that most accommodations are flexible where at all possible. We found that on entry to the apartment, on the ground floor where the kitchen, dining and lounge were located, was not very appealing. There was no view only 4 concrete walls from downstairs terrace, accommodation next door used theirs for parking. The kitchen is very well equipped, which would be great for families. As a mature couple we did not use this as we had our meals out. Only ever having breakfast, drinks etc which we took upstairs to the Fabulous Terrace......which in my opinion the star of this apartment.

Fantastic Terrace in a Great Location. We only used the first floor bedroom and found this bed to be very comfortable.
