I would have felt more comfortable if I had received the key code before our day of arrival. It's an extra level of stress not having it before leaving for the airport.

Beautiful appartment. Well furished with plenty of utensils. The sweets and tea bags were a nice touch. The roof terrace was perfect.

What a wonderfully warm apartment, perfect for our stay; was lovely to have a separate living room & kitchen. Bathroom was excellent & lots of room & storage space in the bedroom; great outside space for chilling with a glass of wine! Location is perfect for a 20 / 25 min to the old upper city & just a few moments from shops / supermarkets / bars / restaurants of the lower town. Met our needs perfectly. Hosts very good with communications. Certainly contributed to a great stay & memories of Carcassonne

The apartment was as advertised. It was bright and there was plenty of space with things left so we could cook if we wanted like olive oil etc. Tea and coffee was also provided plus things for washing up. Someone meeting us to give us the keys was also a nice personal touch.

This is a gem of a place! Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The kitchen especially so. It had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable with good quality linen. The shower was spacious with good pressure and plentiful hot water. There is even a hairdryer. It is well decorated and furnished. With Netflix, Amazon Prime etc, if you have time for tv! Extremely well situated in a quiet corner of the bastide, walking distance to many shops, bars and restaurants, along with the medieval city. Everything is on the doorstep but the apartment is tucked away from the hustle and bustle for quiet time on the terrace and a peaceful nights sleep! The terrace was particularly handy. A great spot to soak up the sunshine with a good degree of privacy. I enjoyed the birdsong but also the accompanying soft sounds of people’s day to day lives below. Highly recommended. I would definitely return.

Loved the reply classy apartment. Street and quality of furnishings was excellent. Location was great as it was near to amenities yet far enough away from them to enjoy a very relaxing stay.

A couple of small preferences but nothing that spoilt our stay.

We loved the outdoor space. In need of a few small repairs but a wonderful area for eating and relaxing nonetheless. A great addition to the Apartment.

The apartment is in a perfect location - close to all food shops, markets, restaurants. A short walk to all attractions. It is high ceiling, nicely decorated and well equipped. Checkin was a breeze with excellent communication. Erik pointed out some great restaurants and walks to do. But, mostly, staying in Carcassonne was about sitting in the Bastide town plaza and having a drink while watching the people go by. Great vibe in the town.

Non slip shower mat would be useful. The old city is wonderful but obviously gets very busy at times. Be prepared for crowds in summer.

Lovel apartment in an excellent location. Erik met us to hand over he keys and show us around and was very welcoming and a mine of useful information. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen and large roomy shower room. The terrace is a delightful place to sit and dine 'al fresco'. Plenty of local restaurants and choice of food shops. Easy to walk to the medieval town. delightful walking alongside the river and over the footbridge.
