In my opinion the hotel would be better as Adults only. During our stay there were some young children staying there who were allowed to run around and make a lot of noise during the day and during evening meal at the restaurant. Without children there this hotel would be idyllic. The restaurant also takes bookings from people who are not hotel residents - the children with these bookings were also allowed to run around tables during evening meal service. During our stay there was a lot of residue being washed up on the beach which was very unsightly in places and resulted in the sea not being as clear as other places such as Sardinia.

The staff are amazingly helpful from the reception to the restaurant staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they were helpful, professional, super friendly, happy and down to earth (you could share a joke with them). The location of the hotel is superb - they tell you it's a 15 to 20 min walk into Saint Florent, in reality it's a 10 min walk into the town which is beautiful. The hotel is right on the beach - you can hear the ocean waves while having breakfast or an evening meal at the restaurant. Despite the points mentioned below in what I didn't like this is a great hotel overall. The staff contribute hugely to this.

Air con - noisy. Could hear neighbours outside. Bathroom would flood when took a shower. Menu tasty but limited. Same 3 main dishes seem to be on every day for lunch and dinner.

The location and staff. Saint Florent is great place and I can recommend getting boat to Lotu. Walks and beaches there are great. Bed comfy and room well equipped

The breakfast is expensive, would prefer a la carte for that cost rather than a buffet.

Everything was perfect

La Roya is the cutest and the loveliest property located right on the beach in Saint Florent. It is quiet and away from the tourist crowds yet at the very center of the bay in close proximity to the town. Hotel restaurant is the absolute best and is highly recommended!!

We love the location, but first of all, we love the team there there is so helpful and nice to us. the new chef in the restaurant is fantastic. We had two meals there that was absolutely great. We got to meet the owner who is a passionate about Corsica and gave us a lot of different pointers

Really great location - close to St Florent (10 min walk along the beach) but far enough away to be quiet and secluded.

Whilst breakfast offered plenty of options, there often seemed to be empty coffee pots (would have preferred the buffet breakfast with coffee/tea table service), and the breakfast waitress wasn't very helpful or friendly, she didn't speak English nor did the staff in the restaurant, though they were at least friendly so that didn't matter. We did address this with the management who were more than helpful and explained that following covid there was a shortage of staff working in hospitality so having staff who spoke other languages proved to be challenging. This didn't spoil our holiday though and the management were very understanding and helpful.

Stunning beach front location, comfortable sun loungers, spacious well kept gardens, clean pool area and plenty of relaxation areas. The hotel and room was exceptionally clean, lovely toiletries in the room, exceptional room cleaning service and friendly, helpful reception/front of house staff. Good location for a nice walk into the town where you can catch a water taxi to the beautiful Lotu beach with white sands and turquoise seas, great for snorkelling if you take a short walk west of the beach. Really good food from the restaurant though few options and quite pricey, otherwise a 10 minute walk to town for other dining options.

Difficult to locate staff and weren’t very helpful when dealing with them. The only choice of food in the evening was a 5 or 6 course meal! Not the best idea when you are not hungry or don’t actually like or want all the courses.
