A bit too much furniture and bits and pieces in the bedroom for us. All of it charming but less would have felt better but purely a matter of preference.

Breakfast was great, the place was really peaceful and the room comfortable.

Lovely welcome, very comfortable room and lots of advice on where to eat. We felt very relaxed and happy to stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were on our travels this way.

Lovely place, very cosy and comfortable. You can tell the host takes pride in providing the best service possible. Julie was most attentive and welcoming. A very nice place. And the swimming pool was a treat after a long day in the road! Recommended!!

The accessories where not completely my style, less would be more. The pillows could be improved. But overall it was fantastic!!

The owner spoke fantastic English and was really nice. Great rooms, lovely swimming pool and good breakfast. Jazz festival within two minutes walking in the village. Stayed for one night on our way to Bilbao and it was an excellent start of our holiday!

There was nothing to dislike. We appreciate work on the house is a daily job and takes time … minor observation maybe tidy front of house for better first impression.

It was in a nice location . The owner Julie was lovely. She was so helpful and you can see her love for the business in all the nice little touches around the chateau. She cooked us an evening meal which was delicious especially the plum crumble . So yummy !!! The breakfast was excellent lots of choice and the homemade jam delicious. Thank you Julie for a memorable stay .

We were met by a cheery and welcoming proprietor who explained the workings of the accommodation, which was clean and beautifully designed without being intimidating. An unexpected surprise was a fully laid breakfast room with as much choice as anyone could want., The proprietor saw to her guests needs before leaving get the children to school. I have paid a lot moire for a lot less in other places in France. After a very hot drive from Calais it was a welcome cool overnight stay.

Julie has created an absolutely lovely place to stay, situated in a beautiful location. Her attention to detail and homeliness is super. Quite quirky and individual, in an engaging and enjoyable way, yet also comfortable and very relaxing. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay.

Very warm welcome by the owner Julie. Located in a very quiet and nice place. Free parking in the walled garden. The breakfast was even too extensive to finish it all.

A very minor observation but we would have liked firmer pillows , otherwise everything was very good indeed .

The welcome from Julie was excellent and very professional . The location was ideal for a short walk in to the centre of town and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options and was ample in every way .

On our way to Spain we had a stop over in Haeven! What a very fine happy place this is. Definitely an allround ten for accommodation, swimming pool, garden, breakfast and the care of Juliet.

There was only one room left when we booked which was a little bit small for our 6 day stay especially as we couldn’t be outdoors.

The room was comfortable and Julie was a wonderful hostess. She provided a delicious continental breakfast and a welcome supper on our arrival. The weather was cold and wet so we weren’t able to experience the outdoors which was a shame as I’m sure it would be glorious in the summer.

Nothing. Pity Julie no longer offers a table d'hôte - understandable with all she does without help.

Julie is a charming host and the stay was delightful. The pool was welcome after a hot drive. We wandered around the park and wondered how Julie manages to keep up the house and grounds. The deco in our room and the common areas is superb. Very good breakfast especially the home made jams. Well done - we'll be back.
