Slightly odd having the shower in the corner of the bedroom, and the toilet downstairs, but I was aware of this when booking and it wasn't a problem.

Great location, super close to all the bars and restaurants in the old heart of Dinan. The lockable courtyard of the property was great for leaving my bike, and there was a handy drying rack in the sun.

Doesn't explain where the parking was exactly. Worked it out in the end. It's in Parking Hotel de Ville underground carpark. Couldn't work out how to use induction hob, no instructions and gave up. Weird glass floor looking up into bedroom and shower. No privacy, okay if you are a couple who doesn't mind.

Would be nice if the instructions to gain access to the property was given ahead of time with very clear instructions… like walk all the way at the end of the hallway after entering hallway, obtain keys under stairs compartment using provided code. First we waited a while outside the building trying to figure out where the house was. There was no house! After we entered. We went out again and decided to text the host which takes a while before a response was received. Then we were trying to use the computer given which appeared to be a locked storage , it was frustrating in the beginning. But after this misunderstanding, everything wet well . As a suggestion, a welcoming couple of bottled water might be very helpful. I think that’s not too much to ask to use your make coffee or tea, or just quench thirst after long travel . But overall we were very happy and had and exceptional experience in the charming and secretly concealed house! Thank you!

We knew that there was a little shower upstairs in the bedroom, but I wasn’t aware that there is also a glass, see-through panel in the floor, right next to the shower. I have a fear of heights and really didn’t feel comfortable stepping over the glass panel, even though it was looking toward the living room downstairs. We had an issue with Wi-Fi password, but it was solved after I called the owner. Be aware that Wi-Fi doesn’t really work upstairs. There was a washing machine and we thought that we could use it, but there was no laundry detergent. So we didn’t use it.

The location was very good, close to the most sites. We also liked the fact that apartment offers free parking. However, we had to pay for the parking. We were told that the free parking pass will be waiting for us at the apartment. We couldn’t find it. We called the owner and inquired about the free parking pass but she couldn’t help us and told us just to pay for the parking. so just be prepared that to pass for free parking would be missing and you will have to pay for the parking on your own.

Great location for visiting the castle and old town. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Comfortable apartment with everything you could need. Parking arrangements slightly complicated but great to have access to a nearby parking spot. Host was very responsive and provided great recommendations for the local area.

Bed is on a separate level to the toilet and other facilities, which is only a problem for patrons who are less mobile/older. We are retirement aged but would definitely return.

Fantastic location, bright and cheery accommodation, excellent under-cover secure parking available at no extra cost and just a very short walk from the apartment. Very good kitchen. A very positive experience.

Although there was a sofa bed, I would suggest that for a longer stay, it would be more comfortable for just a couple. The shower is located in the corner of the bedroom, and the downstairs living space is open plan so it became a little crowded getting ready for bed/in the morning. For an overnight stay it was perfect though and my children slept well on the sofa bed, and we slept perfectly in the very comfortable bed upstairs.

The location was fantastic and the apartment was bijou and perfect for an overnight stay in Dinan. The hosts had thought of everything and even provided UHT milks and some madelines for breakfast as well as a selection of teas and coffee pods. The apartment is cleverly designed to fit a lot into a small space and the outdoor terrace with views to the clock tower was a lovely area to spend some time after returning from dinner in the evening. We plan to return as a couple without the children and will come back to this apartment if it is available.

nothing to not like

it was quirky and well thought out. spotlessly clean with everything you need. The house is right in the centre of Dinan , so an excellent position . There was use of a free car park which was a great advantage. Great communication from the owner.
