A bit of a walk from the station for an old lady like me but very relaxing

Beautifully kept property a close walk to the Meaux train station with a phenomenal host and very clean and comfortable accommodations. Laurence thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable and gave great advice for local attractions and transportation. Highly highly recommend La Petardière!

No dislake, but real excellent would have been a kitchen with combi oven, water tap and/or dish washer. Nice suggestion to put some short written information about train tickets to Paris in the appartment (from Meaux only 5 euro to Gare de l'Est)

Laurence was a delightful, welcoming host. The apartment was lovely and spotlessly clean. There is a beautiful garden with tables and chairs if the weather is nice. The property is situated in a quiet area with secure parking and is easy to find if you use Waze as recommended by Laurence. Paris is easily accessible by car or train from the apartment.

We travelled by public transport, so the location of the apartment was not in the centre of meaux. But we knew this beforehand. The apartment is well lightened but unfortunately due to other people walking past the apartment, we had to keep the curtains closed most of the time. Does not have ac - but we didn't need it

The owner was very helpful and kind. Thanks so much Laurence, she even picked us up from the train station as we had a delay. The apartment was big and comfortable. The garden was amazing. The apartment was filled with alot of things which you might need, such as board games. We would have loved to stay longer but the apartment was already booked. The apartment is also very safe with an electronic gate.

Everything was perfect!

Before you read this I want to tell you that everything was above expectations. We went to read the reviews and we thought hopefully it's just as good, but it really surprised us so much. We arrived and we were very nicely received by the son. Very nice and he speaks great English and French. Gave us so many tips about where we could eat and how to take the bus (because we went to disneyland) and could go to him with all our (extra) questions and would forward everything via whatsapp. Own private grounds and the backyard is great! The view from the room to the garden is beautiful. They even put new furniture in the garden. You are sitting there to enjoy! Then after 2 days we liked it so much that we asked for 2 extra nights and that was possible immediately! Me, my husband and my daughter really enjoyed it. We would recommend this beautiful apartment, surroundings and family to anyone who goes here!

We weren’t able to find a knife for chopping vegetables/fruit for example, which wasn’t too much of a problem but it may be useful to have one :)

It was very clean and comfortable to stay in, great location for transport to Disney easily, as well as into Paris while avoiding being in a busy area. Most of what we needed was available, such as plates, glasses, cutlery and utensils. The hosts were really friendly and helpful about the area and transport, so as younger people, we felt comfortable asking for assistance where needed.
