Nothing really though a screen on one window would be nice to permit opening at night

We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed our visit. The owners Patrick and Sandrine are friendly and helpful an take great pride in their property and desire to provide exceptional service and amenities. The property is beautifully located just outside of town with lush grounds and a view of Mt Victoire. Pool was very cleaned and a delight during warm afternoons. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped for our stay with a mini fridge, coffee and tea. Makers etc. very quiet and peaceful within relatively easy walk to town for the reasonably fit with time to do so. Breakfast prepared by Sandrine was exceptional. With great variety of breads,fruit,cheese yogurt and homemade jams

Everything was incredible - from the hosts communication, to the grounds, to our room. The one bedroom terrace was much bigger than pictured and had plenty of space. The grounds were immaculate and it made us fall in love with Aix that little bit more. Honestly a 5 star self-contained accomodation - don’t hesitate! Also we had a car and it was only 8 minutes drive to park in the city centre for reference on where this property is located.

We spend 3 wonderful days at Parenthese Saint Donat. The location is amazing, it feels like waking up in the middle of a park, with heated swimming pool as a bonus. :) Even if its not in the city center, it takes only 10 min to get there by car. If you love nature and enjoy staying in a quite, peaceful, beautiful place, you must try Parenthese. Breakfast prepare by Sandrine is just amazing, we had each morning a different breakfast, very balanced and very much french :).

La Parenthese Saint Donat was superb! Gorgeous property, very comfortable and stylish accomodation with a lovely pool area to relax after a day in wandering around Aix en Provence. Amazing property and we were made to feel so welcome by the owners. They shared useful local information that made our stay even more special. To make things even better we were served an amazing array of food each morning, beautiful breakfast treats all prepared by Sandrine. A very impressive property in every respect.

Sandrine and Patrick were incredibly welcoming. The place is spectacular, with a beautifully clean pool and views into the mountains. Breakfast each morning was a culinary tour de force.

Exquisite! We had the most lovely, comfortable and happy stay at Sandrine and Patrick’s home on their beautiful property. They are always available if you need anything and take such care the whole time you are there. Sandrine serves such delicious, fresh food, the breakfast was AMAZING! This really was the highlight of our trip. The pool was also a slice of heaven. Thank you again we will recommend to everyone.

Everything was fantastic! Our hosts were amazing . They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and guided us with great local tips on where to go and what to do in the area to make the most out of our trip. The property is absolutely beautiful, in an excellent location, and so peaceful.

Everything perfect!

This really is an exceptional place to stay. Sandrine and Patrick are lovely hosts and cannot do more to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast is amazing, lovely homemade items, different every day, beautifully presented and so delicious. Our room was immaculate, very clean with everything you need during your stay. The location is around a 35 minute walk to the centre of Aix, in a very quiet and secluded area.

The property and the hosts were amazing ! The apartment has all of the amenities you can ask for and everything, from the interior decor to the landscape and pool, are beautiful! It is by far one of the best equipped and loveliest properties I have stayed at. The hosts were also beyond amazing - they provided ample support with the property and nearby food and attractions. The breakfast was also a definite plus! Would definitely recommend and hope to come again soon!
