William & Camille are a hospitable couple and helpful in making suggestions on what to see in Bordeaux. They also do a very good breakfast!

The location was perfect for exploring Bordeaux and in our opinion, one of the nicest neighbourhoods. The wonderful park across the road is a must visit. Breakfast was simple but delicious and our room was very pleasant. All in all we can highly recommend.

Lovely room in a beautiful old building in a great neighbourhood. Very close to the centre with a 10 minute walk. Room was well appointed and breakfast very good , with the option to eat inside or the court yard outside. Julie the young lady who did the breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to others to stay here.

The chairs, while stylish, were not comfortable to sit in if you need to spend any time in the room other than at night.

Beautiful property. The room has a lovely high ceiling with ornate cornicing, tall windows and a balcony on which to enjoy a continental breakfast. It has double doors opening into a bright, stylish bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and the lighting stylish. A nice quiet location. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions. No problems with check-in or parking.

Location is excellent, short walk to all the city centre or just beside the tram if you preferred. Owners were very friendly. Great breakfast.

Staff was very accomodating. Room was updated yet had a country feel to it. Air conditioning was a big plus given the heat. Breakfast was very good. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Central location. On-site staff was charming. Much was done remotely, but worked well. Appreciated accommodation of my very early check-in. Safe, locked bicycle parking in their nearby garage. Breakfast basket far exceeded my expectations.

We were in a room on the ground floor which faced the street. This can't be helped, if this is the room you end up with, but perhaps a choice of room in this regard would assist some travellers. The room also didn't have an iron or a full length mirror, even though there is ample space for both of those items. The only other thing which is perhaps a little off-putting is that the loo is separate from the bathroom (in the room we stayed in) and it was right next to the right hand side of the bed.

Beautiful and personal B&B just outside of Bordeaux city centre. Camille and William are relaxed and friendly hosts who helped us where they could with our questions. They were very accommodating of us leaving our car parked near their garage for the day after check-out and offered breakfast brought to the room, which was a lovely personal touch and very welcome given my partner and I had had a long day of travelling the day before. The room was large, with lovely design features. The bathroom was also large, with a huge walk in shower and modern double sink. All in all a really lovely little place to stay. Would recommend and would stay here again. It was also quiet at night!

No elevator to upper floors was the only drawback, but otherwise very good. Nice breakfast included. Enjoyed talking with other guests. Very comfortable. Nice shower/bathroom and room.

Excellent location in the charming historic quarter known as the 'Golden Triangle'. La Maison Galiène is an elegant building, very tastefully decorated and renovated, combining both modern and old-style features. Our room was very spacious (nearly 30m2). Great bathroom with large Italian-style shower, all very clean. Breakfast is included - a delicious selection of breads and pastries. Camille and William are very accommodating with arrival times and answer all enquiries really quickly. Highly recommended.

The remote check-in process was a little confusing. I could see in the booking.com history that there was an email giving the room details and entry instructions but I did not receive the email. The ground-floor room (which we requested) was a bit noisy due to guests arriving/departing at 05.30am. The fan in the toilet was on constantly and the fan in the bathroom didn't work at all. Small issues overall, but you did ask!

Lovely modern room in a location very close to many attractions in Bordeaux. Within walking distance of lots of restaurants as well as the tram. It was a very brief visit but would definitely consider staying for a longer time. Also the breakfast basket was delicious. Fresh croissants, bread, yoghurt, fruit, orange juice, tea & coffee. And delivered early as requested. Also would recommend the parking option if you're driving.
