The Platane has 3 individual suites - we stayed in Lisa - it was beautiful- gorgeous bathroom such a comfortable bed !!! Located within the village with its restaurants, shops and regular markets are only steps away. In spite of this it is so peaceful- an oasis of calm with beautiful gardens and an amazing pool. Breakfast was perfect- fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs, bread / croissants, fruit juice, tea / coffee…. All delicious! Ulrika and Anders were fantastic hosts. So helpful recommending restaurants and things to see / do during the day.

Our stay was absolutely lovely - every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality from Anders and Ulrika felt genuine and personal, with each interaction making us feel right at home. From the beautifully appointed decor to the impeccable service, it was truly an unforgettable experience! We will come back :)

Absolutely nothing!!

The property is absolutely stunning! Our room was actually an apartment with a separate living room and a huge bathroom. It was very, very tastefully decorated. Outdoor area was simply fantastic, a gorgeous pool area with sun loungers, several recreation areas and an outdoor kitchen with an honesty bar with very reasonable prices, the same as in the supermarket! The hosts, Ulrika and Anders were lovely, we were greeted with a glass of rosé wine and snacks and were briefed about everything. During our 2 night stay the helped to book some very nice restaurants and even gave us some of their own books since we had finished ours! Breakfast was wonderful and plentiful and very tastefully displayed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , everything was first class and Ulrika and Anders were very attentive and helpful.

The owners have created a stylish little corner of paradise in the south of France. Fabulously comfortable bed, luxury bath products, and a five star breakfast served in a beautiful garden setting. There's a large pool with lounges, an outdoor summer kitchen and guest living area, all very well kept. Parking was easily available two steps from the property, thoroughly recommend!

The place is incredible beautiful and romantic. And the hosts Ulrika and Anders are simply wonderful. It was overall 12 points when 10 are the best :-))). Ulrika and Anders gave me the feeling to have stayed with lovely, caring friends. The rooms are delightful and furnished with excellent taste and care for precious details. La Maison de Plantane feels like a romantic mini-chateau. With its huge gate, the beautiful garden and really lovely pool-area. One can walk from the maison in few steps right into the gorgeous little medival village of Fayence: everything is close by. The breakfast Ulrika and Anders offer is delicious, personalized (!) and fresh. (Much better than in most 4* hotels I stayed in.). I will 100% come back. We prefer to have breakfast alone. That being said, it was well done.

Each room has it's own private entrance. The hammock was fun.

What an amazing find. Superb accommodation and beautifully decorated and furnished. A must stay destination if you are visiting Fayence. Such a pleasure to sleep in a luxurious bed and to have a sitting room to stretch out and read in. The big bonus is the pool. An absolute oasis with great sun lounges

The service could have been better for the prize. Our bed and room was made once, we stayed for a week. We asked for frech towels twice. The host just said we could hang them outside. Toilet paper was also not filled up regularly. It may seem a bit petty, but such things decrease your experience. It was a bit disappointing. Bathroom and shower could use a little bit of love and renovation. Shower drain was clogged.

The breakfast was really good and great selection. The pool area was really nice, lots of sun beds.
