We loved the location, the room was stunning as was the area outside with the pool. Parking was a little difficult to find but we put this fown yo our tiredness. Early check in and late check out works well for us and the breakfast this morning was so good. We left our parking fee and insurance in our room for collection. We highly recommend this place.

Fabulous location, accommodation was exceptional. Large modern room, well appointed, bed really comfortable. Bathroom was stunning! Car parking reasonably priced and secure, however we were fortunate to get a park in the free parking area, only a short walk from our accommodation. A welcome glass of champagne was a lovely touch, and the continental breakfast was well stocked. The fortified city also a short walk. Great communication from Jean, provided very detailed information making everything smooth and easy.

Modern, good help yourself breakfast, responsiveness of staff and a great location- can walk to everything. 7 minute walk to medieval town. Restaurant nearby (5 min walk). Great view from the room. Lovely outdoor space with large couch and cool spa.

Rooms have been done a bit ‘on the cheap’- not super solid!

    Location was perfect

From my room, window overlooking the pool, there was an clicking sound that I assume came from the pool system every minute or two, even through the night. Was a tad annoying.

The hotel is very near to the old city and the castle. It is REALLY very quiet and very comfortable. We would repeat without a doubt.

Breakfast was very simple (continental breakfast). Access with car was bit complicated (during summer cause of street markets) also the explanation on the options where you can leave your car.

The room was really comfortable and clean. There wasn’t very much hanging space. Breakfast very good. Plunge pool we didn’t use but looked inviting.

We saw no one. In the morning we needed to lay out city tax but also wanted to ask if we could leave our bags there and there was literally no one to ask. We balked the number and got no reply so that wasn’t great service.

Luxurious but homely stay in the heart of Carcassonne. Exceptionally furnished and decorated. Room was huge! Friendly but not intrusive staff.

Loved the location, ambience, clean facilities, the pool, the welcome champagne and especially Lourdes, our beautiful breakfast housemaid.

It would have been an added bonus to have a host present on arrival as this creates warmth & someone to assist with enquirers. But this did eventuate the next morning when Lourdes assisted with breakfast & was so welcoming & helpful.

Location was perfect...just a short walk to the old city. It was so nice and tranquil too, and the private garage was perfect for parking. Breakfast was particularly nice, with plenty of fresh bread and pastries.

The location was exceptional! Right under the Carcassonne Citadel. Just a 7 minute walk through a shortcut up the hill and entering one of outer wall entrances. There are several restaurants and bars within a short walk.

The room we stayed in was uncomfortably warm. We messaged the host/owner and they told us that the thermostat was set to 22 Celsius. It was not possible for us to manually change it and the host didn’t offer to regulate it down to even a couple of degrees. However, the temperature in the common area was set at a cool 18 degrees where hardly a person was using or present. I didn’t make sense that they were not more considerate of the guests staying in the actual rooms. Our room did not have a fan to circulate air and no windows that can open. There was a sliding door that opened directly to the patio and pool area. To cool the room down, we had to open that door up at the expense of our privacy and peace. We also had to keep the door to our room open for cross flow. From 6pm our room didn’t cool down until 2am. Thankfully this happened on our last evening from a 2-night stay. The second issue was that their signal WiFi was weak inside the room. If the owner or manager can sort out a solution to these two issues, I believe that this B&B would be an outstanding place to stay. All other facilities and amenities were good.
