Rooms have been done a bit ‘on the cheap’- not super solid!

Modern, good help yourself breakfast, responsiveness of staff and a great location- can walk to everything. 7 minute walk to medieval town. Restaurant nearby (5 min walk). Great view from the room. Lovely outdoor space with large couch and cool spa.

From my room, window overlooking the pool, there was an clicking sound that I assume came from the pool system every minute or two, even through the night. Was a tad annoying.

Breakfast was very simple (continental breakfast). Access with car was bit complicated (during summer cause of street markets) also the explanation on the options where you can leave your car.

The hotel is very near to the old city and the castle. It is REALLY very quiet and very comfortable. We would repeat without a doubt.

We saw no one. In the morning we needed to lay out city tax but also wanted to ask if we could leave our bags there and there was literally no one to ask. We balked the number and got no reply so that wasn’t great service.

The room was really comfortable and clean. There wasn’t very much hanging space. Breakfast very good. Plunge pool we didn’t use but looked inviting.

Luxurious but homely stay in the heart of Carcassonne. Exceptionally furnished and decorated. Room was huge! Friendly but not intrusive staff.

It would have been an added bonus to have a host present on arrival as this creates warmth & someone to assist with enquirers. But this did eventuate the next morning when Lourdes assisted with breakfast & was so welcoming & helpful.

Loved the location, ambience, clean facilities, the pool, the welcome champagne and especially Lourdes, our beautiful breakfast housemaid.

Location was perfect...just a short walk to the old city. It was so nice and tranquil too, and the private garage was perfect for parking. Breakfast was particularly nice, with plenty of fresh bread and pastries.

Lighting in room a bit dull, and access to property was remote keypad so no onsite hosting. Not a big issue but would be nice.

Adjacent to the main trail to the castle and close to restaurants. Small plunge pool with outdoor seating. Parked our bikes in the relax area as no access provided to a more secure area. Breakfast was okay. Room good, shower good.

The breakfast was only served from 9am-10am and we had to catch an early flight so would be great to have had an alternative option for people like us

The outdoor cushions were unusable which was a shame as the weather was beautiful, the pool/hot tub was dirty and cold so also unusable (unsure if this is due to it being out of seasons in early may)

The property was in the best location and beautiful it also have a would view of the castle.

There is nothing to dislike

The location was excellent Cean & Modern Property Nice breakfast Comfortable room & good size. Complementary Glass of Champagne on arrival 🥂 The host was very helpful

The only small thing was that the bedroom door handlles are squeaky.....It did'nt bother me but it disturbed another guest when i was accessing my room. Maybe 1 or 2 English speaking tv chanels would have been nice....But it's not a big deal.

The breakfast suited me fine.Everything was laid out fresh every morning. It's a very cosy property and did'nt seem too busy. I definitely look forward to returning.
