How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing negative to say!
Beautiful property- our family of 4 stayed in the “Family” room upstairs and was fantastic! Do be aware the stairs are a bit steep and narrow if folks have mobility problems. Aside from that is hard to imagine a nicer place or better location. Better still is Nadine- unbelievably kind and helpful and beautiful light breakfast. Staying at Maison Blanche made an amazing town truly magical for our family.

This hotel is one of the most tastefully renovated places we have ever seen. It was chic yet unpretentious. Our spacious room came equipped with Alessi bathroom fixtures, a very comfortable bed and classy photographs from a wine campaign. Our hostess took the trouble to describe the history of the house and even reserved a table for us at an exceedingly good restaurant.

Nadine and Christian were thoughtful and considerate hosts. Nadine offered help with our dining and activity reservations while in Beaune. The B & B was absolutely beautiful--very chic and stylish! And the French breakfast was incredible.

Wish we could have stayed longer!
Nadine was an incredible host who absolutely made our stay in Beaune unforgettable. She generously offered to pick us up from the train station, helped us make restaurant reservations, helped us plan out our activities in Beaune, and was an absolute delight to converse with during breakfast. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

The location is great. You are close to restaurants and shops. Everything is an easy walk. Nadine, the owner, makes sure your trip is perfect. She helps book reservations at restaurants, helps with booking wine tours or anything else you need.

La Maison Blanche is an amazing place to stay in Beaune. Nadine, the host, goes out of her way for her guests. Nadine kindly served breakfast every morning, made recommendations for places in town, and even picks guests up from the train if necessary. The house itself is extremely clean, comfortable, and is very centrally located, with cafes and restaurants within short walking distance. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet and large. Huge plus was the air conditioning, as we were there in the summer. There is a wine cellar on premises, but we sadly did not sample from it as we were busy doing local wine tours and sitting at all the wonderful cafes La Maison Blanche is close to. Highly recommended!

An absolutely beautiful properly—stylish, modern, immaculately clean and very comfortable. Great location too, about a five minute walk to the hospices and center of Beaune. Nadine is an exceptional host, always available to help with restaurant reservations, wine tastings and anything else her guests might need. Breakfast was perfect, with fresh breads and homemade jams. We will be back!
