FranceI consider the check in time of 4pm a little late....as did the other 7 people there for precisely 4pm....only for the person on reception not arrive at her desk until 4.15... It was appreciated that I was able to leave my luggage for the day.. .but I would like it noted...that with such a late check in... When you have arrived in collioure at 10am.... I feel it's important that the receptionist is there precisely at 16h....

I needed to find a room for the night at very short notice, and this hotel offered a really comfortable, clean room at an excellent price. The staff went out of their way to help you. Another huge advantage is that it is situated right in the heart of Collioure.

BelgiumCentral location means being on top of a busy street, with restaurants noise at night and truck deliveries in the morning. Inside the hotel doors banging can also be annoying.
The room is comfortable with a very good mattress and good temperature control. Location is very central in Collioure - which comes with pros and cons. Staff was very present and attentive.

United StatesOne just needs to be aware that in a small traditional hotel the elevator is small and slow. It helps to speak French, since not all staff knows English. Sunday market, so you can’t park close by. if you park on the lot across, be aware to park on top of the hill on Saturdays to be able to get out Sunday

GermanyI liked everything, but I think the hotel should invest in individual room safes. Travellers might not want to take "anything" with them onto the beaches, but at the same time they might not want to leave "everything" around in their room in the open. And be it just travel documents or mobile phones.
Location, wonderful room, wonderful breakfast, welcoming staff, easy acces to/from public transportation, to downtown, restaurants and beaches.

SpainOk the staff were lovely. However I couldn’t help but be really annoyed from the start. I arrive with 4 bags. There is no parking near so my bf had to drive around. I took the bags as we were unsure as to how far it would be to walk back. The reception staff is on the phone, fair enough, but after a 2 hour drive I’m dying for the loo. I wait though patiently and he eventually hangs up. Then the phone goes again, and in the couple of seconds between I try to ask about the loo and whether he can look after the bags (containing laptops etc), or if I can check in so that I can run to the room asap, but he cuts me off by answering the phone. Since I had already been stood there he should have either put them on hold immediately, or let them know then attended to me. Essentially this person on the phone jumped the queue. I am then a little short with the staff member as all I can think about is that I’m about to pre myself and he keeps telling me more info that at this point I’m not interested in. He then lets me struggle into the tiny lift with all the bags, just not very courteous. Overall I was very irritated.
Great location as you are right in the town and can easily have a wander around to explore. Room was nice. Air con a dream in the heatwave.

United KingdomOur particular room had double aspect windows and aircon, which was an absolute blessing, but was located next to the laundry and lift. The heat in the corridor was exceptional and lots of noisy activity during the day. The shower was over the bath with no screen or curtain so impossible not to flood the floor. One other disappointing development since visiting last year is that the restaurant, which was 1st class, has now been converted into a cafe serving the usual fast food. Did not use it so cannot comment on the quality.
The location of the hotel could not be better. The centre of town. Options available for breakfast which are not offered when booking.
