Beautiful location, welcoming family. Great little pool and huge garden for kids to run wild in. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Didn't blink at the chaos caused by 3 kids under 5, we took the whole top floor which could be safely closed off. Pretty ideal set up to visit Tours/Chateaux or as a longer pitstop on way south.

Our host was very flexible with the dinner as we arrived late due to traffic. We could have our dinner at 10PM and it was very tasteful.

It did not bother us very much because it sort of fitted in with the farm feel of the place, but there were spiderwebs on the ceiling and several stains on the carpet. The bathroom has a nice bath but you cannot hang the showerhead in a holder.

We used this b&b for one night while traveling south. It was a great place to relax on our first day. We loved the swimming pool, the quietness, the space, the garden and the friendly hosts. The room was very nice as well, with a big bed for the parents and two separate beds for the children. There was no dinner that night but the possibilty to order planchas, which was great for us.

Nothing, although the plants around the terrace are in need of some TLC.

Lovely setting not far from the motorway as we were travelling to Spain. Very peaceful though. The bedroom & bathroom were lovely, very comfortable & clean. Although Sandrine didn’t offer food on a Sunday, she made us a delicious platter of meats & cheeses, which was very welcome after a long day on the road.

Stairs are difficult for an older visitor, but Monsieur helped us. Personable couple. Good evening meal. A bit off the beaten track, but quirky and fun.

The location was lovely and rural. Children loved the outdoor pool. The rooms were amazing and the hosts cooked a really nice evening meal and were very welcoming. We regret not booking an extra night.

First of all ... the hosts and their children. We sat two times at their "table d'hôte" and loved that. The facility was "a French paradise". When in France we hope to come back here.

Nouatre is a delightful small town and just a few km off the autoroute so a great place to stop off on the way south. La Cle des Jardins was a wonderful house to stay in and it was delightful to meet Sandrine and Sebastien and their children. The dinner was spectacular and everything was incredibly good value for a stupendous stay in a beautiful setting.

All was fine.

This was a convenient first night stop-off point heading to Spain from UK channel ports. A charming rustic rural property with a covered parking area - handy as it poured with rain. Sadly there was no food served as it was Wednesday and the family who own the property don’t serve meals on Wednesdays or Sundays as they are for family meal time, which we understood. We were notified of this in advance and the host had offered to book a restaurant for us and suggested 3 within 20 minutes. We declined and instead just visited a chain burger restaurant 10 minutes away
