A lovely studio room on an upper level - but I would maybe book an alternative room if travelling with a young child as the space wasn't well suited to a toddler.

More than a 10 out of 10 star value place to stay, it's tranquil, clean, with a comfortable bed in a well equipped room with fridge, microwave,and good quality coffee and tea facilities, the bathroom and shower were very good and spacious. Fantastic breakfast to start our day served by a lovely host, and her 2 cats are wonderful for cuddles if you are missing your own pets. I also recommend a drink from her bar in the relaxing surroundings of the garden. Can't wait to return.

Only the sofa bed, which was horribly uncomfortable (as many of them are). It really needs replacing. Everything else was comfortable and well-maintained.

Really beautiful property, but outside and the decorations inside the room. Friendly host a a good quality French-style breakfast. It's about an hour from the ferry, so works perfectly as a stop-off, but it would also work well for a longer stay in the area. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Nothing, absolutely nothing wrong.

Next time someone is tells me “Go to your happy place,” this is where my imagination will take me. This place is magical. Comfortable facilities, historical significance, delicious food, friendly host, delicious breakfast, beautiful friendly animals. By the way, one can get a full body massage on site, which is a treat to anyone walking the via Francigena. This is a hidden jewel in the via, I cannot recommend it enough.

Nothing, our stay was just perfect. I recommend it.

The place is very beautiful. A great, big garden to walk around or for childeren to play in. The rooms are very cozy and clean. We had a fantastic shower with music, lightdisplay, steam and massage function. Amazing. There's a very nice shop where they sell local stuff. We bought some food and souvenirs, not expencieve and the food was really tasty. Our dog was welcome. Our battery was as good as empty when we arrived with our car and they helpt us loading it, which was extremely nice. Breakfast was very good. We had a lovely stay and hope to go back again next year.

Nothing not to like about the whole venue

What an amazing building full of history and what a fabulous renovation. The grounds throw up lots of fascinating corners with beautiful flower beds, an amazing secret hide away with pirates and a sky pathway. Whether en route south or exploring the region this is a great place to stay.

Space is a little small but you have all you need

Host super helpful and friendly. It says external bathroom but that’s not correct the bathroom is adjoining the bedroom. It’s not external. The dinner was in jars and excellent quality. Much better than imagined.

We are a family of 5 travelling with our dog and it was our third stay here. It’s a perfect place for families, the apartment is really cosy and well equipped, breakfast is great and there is secure parking.
