The location, views, facilities all wonderful. Hotel staff so helpful and kind. Electric bikes were of great quality and worth the money to get around the local towns and vineyards (super hilly so make it so much more fun and doable). We also had a fantastic meal as part of the ‘four hands event’ at Le Bastide, which will forever make the stay memorable

United StatesOur only complaint was the room ran a little hot. We turned the A/C down as low as we could but it stayed pretty warm our entire stay. Not a deal breaker, just would have been a bonus to be a little cooler.
We had an amazing honeymoon at Capelongue. From check-in to check-out, the staff and facilities were great. Our room was gorgeous, clean and more spacious than expected. We loved getting to try the paddle ball court and lounging by the pool. All of the common areas were quiet and so peaceful.

United KingdomThere were a couple of minor issues - however all were dealt with promptly by staff. These were 1. we ordered some eggs at breakfast which took 40minutes to arrive, and had to be remade. 2. The power in the room kept tripping from the coffee machine and kettle. Again the staff quickly resolved within 24hrs but it was a little annoying as no lights were working, or any appliances including TV, Fridge and chargers. Both issues were solved quickly with apologies on both occasions but just a little annoying.
Overall unforgettable stay. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating - especially Paul with his delicious iced lattes and thyme spritzes! Our room was spacious with a comfy bed. We slept excellently. We really enjoyed the beautiful location, which made morning pilates truly magical. It's also a great location for exploring the area, including vineyards and stunning market towns. Highly recommend dining at La Bastide (their onsite Michelin restaurant) - my wife is vegan and the menu was absolutely fantastic with many dishes rivalling their meat equivalent. Getting the caviar course add on was a great decision :)

The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The pool area is peaceful and quiet, making it a great place to relax. The accommodations strike a perfect balance of simplicity, beauty, and tranquility. The décor blends old-world charm with modern comforts in a truly thoughtful way. The on-site restaurant is exceptional, with unforgettable views overlooking Bonnieux. Highly recommended!

New ZealandThe moment you enter Capelongue you are welcomed by a charming valet who whips away your car and luggage, then offered a cold refreshment or coffee or both while you check in. We were upgraded to a lovely two story room with a little terrace and close to the spa and pool. The rooms are lovely, the setting is amazing very provencal with lavender, rosemary and summer flowers in bloom. We ate at La Bergerie the more casual restaurant for dinner twice , the food was great and the setting lovely. This is a 6 star hotel could not fault anything.

You are much better off going to a nearby town to eat a delicious meal or the Michelin Star on-site restaurant. We ate amazing meals nearby.

We had a 3 bedroom suite for 5 people, and did not have enough bath towels, so always have to keep asking…one evening, the resort ran out, so had to use hand towels. Vanity amenities was not included, shaving kit, tooth brush, etc. only cotton swabs. If you like the cabin feel, loft bedroom had ants and spiders were building nests. A bit far from everything, so you need to have a car. Or you can walk for 20-30 min. On site restaurants require advance reservations. At most a 4 star resort.

United KingdomThe suite (the tower) - the layout is problematic. WC downstairs, shower open and sleeping 1st and 2nd floor. Living room is not comfortable and has super dingy lighting. There seems to be too little staff to attend to pool related matters. We found 1x during a whole week a pool towel being available - in all other cases the tray was empty and we had to ask and it took a good 20-30 minutes for towels to appear and sometimes they did not all appear. The Menu at le Bergerie should change during the week to provide some choice and options for those staying longer than a weekend.
Excellent location. Beautiful landscaping and set up. Great pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food and nice facilities.
