Traditional timber mountain lodge which is absolutely gorgeous but requires some care to avoid slipping on narrow, steep stair cases and some low timber beams which can knock your head on if not careful. We stayed on a hot summer day and so it was little warm in bed overnight. These small issues are more than made up for by the hotels charm and delightful hosts

Charming hotel, beautiful gardens, friendly accommodating staff, lots of areas to relax inside and out. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and very reasonably priced. Alcohol selection was also great and well priced.

Unique atmosphere, charming old building, lovely rooms - all with different flair. Varied self made pastries presented with great care for French style breakfast served in family style. Unfortunately we missed dinner due to delayed arrival but heard it was wonderful. Very accommodating in serving us an evening snack despite late hour. Good communication via WhatsApp.

Everything was perfect!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Valérie, we knew our stay at La Ferme d’Angèle was going to be something special. The entire place has a unique charm that’s hard to put into words—bohemian, rustic, and full of character. It truly feels like stepping into a peaceful, cozy retreat tucked away from the world. Dinner was one of the highlights. Valérie serves a home-cooked, family-style meal that feels like you're dining in someone’s warm country kitchen. I had a dietary restriction and, even though I hadn’t mentioned it in advance, she kindly prepared a vegetarian dish for me at the last minute. Future guests should let her know of any special dietary needs ahead of time, since she prepares everything herself with great care. This isn’t your typical hotel stay, so please come with an open mind for discovering something a little different. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return.

Our group stayed for 1 night at La Ferme d'Angele, and overall, it was very nice and a special experience. The rooms were very nice and clean, and the staff were very hospitable and accommodating. It's a special experience as it's different from a regular hotel. The rooms are creatively well decorated, with shared living spaces. The dinner was unique in that it was predetermined, so there's no menu, but the full course meal was really good, and the service by the host and staff was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was excellent as well. You also get to share meals and meet with other guests which makes it a very social setting. It's also in a quite location, with outdoor lounging areas and hot tub to relax. I would recommend it and would stay again if I'm in the area.

There were a lot of steps to the entrance, which was difficult with lots of luggage. The taxi dropped us off roadside, as there was nowhere to pull into for easy access.

Beautiful chalet and rooms. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and from the balcony we had a great view of the mountains! Our host Liuba was very kind and made us feel very welcome. The dinner we had was delicious!

Utterly adorable place. We loved all of the charm and design. The beds were perfect, our room had tons of space, well-utilized too. The hostess was absolutely lovely and very kind. Great breakfast. Plentiful amenities.

Valerie was an excellent host and very friendly. The rooms were really sweetly decorated and there were plenty of areas in the garden to relax and enjoy some peace and read. The garden was beautiful. The dinners and breakfasts were delicious - our favourite was the French toast. There is a walking trail directly behind the property that leads you to Séez or La Roserie for a longer hike. There was plenty of outdoor exploring to do in the area - hiking, cycling, rafting etc. A very beautiful and memorable spot for our family. 👌
