When we pulled up to the address, we were confused as the building didn’t even remotely match the pictures. It turns out a number of the properties in this area are owned by one family, and The Cubelette is actually down an unpaved, narrow road behind the grandfather’s house. Not a big deal - just a warning not to panic if you think you are in the wrong place:) I was with my elderly parents who found the stairs to the bathroom difficult to navigate at night as there is no railing.

I loved staying here. It was definitely one of my most memorable Booking.com rentals. It’s not just the outside that is made out of wood - everything in the house down to the counters and pantry are made out of wood too. It’s small and cozy with an incredible view of Mont Blanc literally right in front.

Nothing, all was great. Definitely our most unique place to stay on our trip to date. Some clearer directions on how to find the property when you get to Chamonix would have been helpful as it’s not obvious but as the host met us quickly this wasn’t really an issue.

Wow amazing views! We loved staying here, shame it was only for one night, we would have loved to stay longer just for the views. We walked into Chamonix as we wanted to stretch our legs after the car journey (about 30 mins) although there is a bus you can take. Host was brilliant, helped us navigate our car through the smallish entrance to get to the property and to search for my daughter’s ear pod before we left!

The main bed is very comfortable. Sofa bed is not so much especially for teens but fine for just an overnight stay. A longer stay would probably be best suited for just 2. The cabin is just beautiful though and well equipped.

Fabulous location and views. Vincent the owner is extremely helpful and friendly. It felt like a privilege to stay there.

The chalet is an absolute gem. We loved it so much. It is beautifully built, with unreal views. The late checkout time of 12pm was also really good. Would love to go back.

I spent a lot of time choosing the right place to stay for one night, and I’m very happy with my choice. I honestly didn’t want to leave — two nights would have been even better! The chalet is very well thought out and has everything you need: kitchen appliances, utensils, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for four people. It really captures the charm of a mountain cabin. The views from the windows are breathtaking, and there’s a lovely outdoor terrace with a table. The host, Vincent, is very friendly and punctual. You can drive right up to the chalet, although the access road is a bit narrow. I highly recommend this place!

This was SUCH a memorable stay for us!! This cabin is in town and super nice with out-of-this-world views through huge windows of Mont Blanc!

A real gem. Beautifully constructed modern chalet/cabin made of antique wood, full of character and a very well-planned space. Four of us (family) fitted comfortably. Unrivalled view of Mont Blanc and Les Bossons glacier. Close to town and roads, yet very peaceful. Great communication from Vincent. Highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation! Traveled with 2 adults and 2 boys (9&12) Everything you need in a compact cute space, the whole family loved . It was warm and cosy despite it being heavy snow outside . The host Vincent met us when we arrived (and even helped push my car through the snow ) he also ensured that the driveway was cleared for the morning so we could leave on time

I would not chose this house if I had babies or elders: the wooden stairs are too challenging !

The property is very nice and cosy, there are a lot of kitchen stuff, the house is very beautiful in general, and the view is fascinating. The host is very friendly and responsive and helpful.

The only thing we could have done with was a fan for upstairs, otherwise this was one of the best places I’ve ever stayed

I don’t think ever stayed anywhere like this…the Alpine and glacier view is beyond incredible and the house itself absolutely stunning with beautiful joinery. The owner is really lovely and helpful and this little house is in the perfect spot, away from the bustle of the town but also easy to access the centre on foot for meals out etc. About 25 mins walk to town but there’s also a local supermarket 7 mins walk which was handy for getting breakfast supplies.

Divine old wooden chalet built by the owner - enormous windows with stunning views and we loved the quiet area. Despite being near the main road there was zero noise - it was blissful!

Amazing views of Mont Blanc Beautiful wooden chalet - traditional look but modern inside. Gets you away from the crowds in Chamonix but still within easy reach

What an incredible place - the mountain views from the window were absolutely stunning and the chalet has been done up beautifully. It's next level and exceeded expectations! Location wise, it's about a 25 minute walk into town, but there is a bus that can take you there too. Vincent is a great host - very friendly and communicative. Would definitely recommend!
